Unemployment down to 4.3%, lowest since 16 years ago. Trump cut regulations, enabling foreign investors to invest in infrastructure. With the upcoming tax reform later this year, I fully expect unemployment rate to drop below 4% before the end of next year.

The US economy added 209,000 jobs in July, more than expected, while the unemployment rate returned to a 16-year low of 4.3%, the Labor Department said in a report Friday.

As I have said before, much of what trump supporters think trump has done, were already in the works. Its not like unemployment was 10% when, like it was when Obama took office. It was breaking 5%.

Here is the unemployment rate by U.S. President.

Here are a few links on things trump wants you to believe he did, but he in fact did not. Including the job growth continuing.

The only thing Trump is better than Obama at is "sucking bigly."

Unemployment numbers dropped under Obama because of unemployment running out after he extended the benefits. Trump is literally kicking ass and taking names on the economy. He knows what he's doing because he knows the types of laws and taxes that kept him from investing more in his businesses. Obama was an under qualified citizen, senator, and president. Period.

Please cite things Trump has done that impact the economy.

Like, anything... one law signed.

Cutting back business regulations is always a plus for corporate America, but a direct consequence to the public at large. We know how deregulation of the financial industry caused the 2008 global financial crisis. Let's hope the up-turn in the economy isn't a false indicator of a future economic crisis resulting from business deregulations.

If you look at the annual unemployment rate numbers, unemployment from 2009 to 2014 are higher than any of the Bush years. Only in 2015 did unemployment fall below 2008, but was still much higher than 2006 and 2007. The Bush was bad for economy mantra is unfounded. If anything, Bush was better than Obama in economy because under Obama unemployment rate was far higher than under Bush.

Some people will never learn or accept.

Underestimate and hate is all that has transpired since Trump announced his running, (which the majority immediately assumed he would badly lose followed by extreme laughter), which we know who's laughing now.

Before that he was great, world known, an American Idol with endless accomplishments.

Let's try this huh... How about maybe be a good sport/American and support the guy, he's the pres.

That may be true of most new administrations, but you have to admit, this one is and has been different. He hit the floor running and hasn't stopped.

What! you mean Bannon's got him on the bottle now?...and there'll be new Pee Pee tapes every weekend....the mind boggles.

Really? Because I'm struggling to find any support for that claim. In fact Investopedia has him at the top of their list of "Millionaires With The Most Bankruptcies."

I think he also holds the record for the most law suits filed against him before and after his inauguration.

EMPLOYMENT is what matters, where Obama had the lowest of my lifetime. EMPLOYMENT has gone up since Trump was elected. It's not policy, it's confidence.

What a toolified moron. The economy is doing better not BECAUSE of Trumpo but despite him. Try and wrap your pointy little head around the concept of the economic arc. Donald has been at the helm (that's being really generous) for 6mos. The economy doesn't react that quickly. It can't It`'s like trying to stop or turn a big ship. But what the hell am I doing. Look at the genius who started this thread. Yes, allsee, of COURSE it's Trump. All his stellar legislative victories has once again saved the day. What a maroon.

It's actually consumer and business confidence.

Interesting thing about those job numbers. The biggest increase was in the low paying leisure and hospitality sector. Just the Trump's cup of tea.

"The leisure and hospitality industry added 62,000 jobs last month, or nearly one in every three jobs created, led by restaurants".

This is still the economy from the last admin until Trump signs his own budget into law and its effects.

Yes and no. Consumer confidence and business confidence is based on Trump, not Obama.

Since Kennedy, confidence has been higher when Republicans are leading the nation. Though this Congress has, thus far, been a drag on the optimism that our wonderful President embodies.

Unemployment is ok but the revenue goes to foreign companies so it will eventually go down.
