Recommended for You Game

Hello friends and music lovers!

I am 99% AGAINST data mining, collection, targeted marketing; however, Youtube is welcome to collect and calculate my data all it wants if it keeps sending excellent music my way. (I guess everyone has his/her price lol)

The other night Youtube brought Black Coffee to my attention. He is a South African DJ (house music), born in 1976, who was in an accident in 1990 that left his left arm paralyzed. Of course, this didn't stop Black Coffee (Nkosinathi Maphumulo) from following his passion for music. From his Wiki page:en.wikipedia.org...(DJ)

He is arguably the most prominent electronic music producer in Africa. Black Coffee had his big break shortly after being chosen as a participant in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy held in Cape Town. In September 2015, he won the "Breakthrough DJ Of The Year" award at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, a few weeks after the release of his fifth studio album, Pieces Of Me

This video is just so masterful for me. I love when musicians go full on creative with their work and create a multi- meduim piece. Plus the music is excellent. I hope you enjoy!

Oh man I really hate to turn down such a nice offer! I can't play a computer game to save my life.. I'm sorry I think my title might have been misleading

I used the word "game" but was hoping that people would post the songs that turn up on their "Recommended for You" feed on Youtube..

I checked out Sins of a Solar Empire on google though and it looks awesome..

Heavenly indeed, and the fact that he wrote this piece when he was deaf, is remarkable.

They say when you lose one of your senses, all of the others become heightened. So I wonder what he felt when he made this. Whatever he felt, must have been very profound to have created such a masterpiece.

I don't think think musical talent like this even exists anymore, unless you're a savant or prodigy of some kind.

Okay. I was listening to some Tom Petty.
This song came up:

The empty chair has Roy Orbison's guitar.

Then I remembered when Orbison died. I was listening to a country/western station. Someone called in and announced it.

Then many other listeners called in with stuff like, "He wasn't a country-western singer...who cares?"

So notice the outfits that the band wears in the video. I guess they cared.

Great music!

The Traveling Wilburys, the "Dream Team" of Rock n Roll and Roy Orbison is just in a class of his own (imo). His music just hits some deep visceral level.. dreamy..

As for rock and country/western, they share the same great grandpappy so they will never be far removed from one another
