Nope. Two years. Or twenty. Depending how long one has been paying attention to Trump.

The question is 'do you approve of his job as President?' Which has been six months. Not 'do you approve of him as a person?'

To that question I'd say 'approve more than Clinton.'

bill clinton didn't break every election promise yet give the already wealthy massive tax breaks in the first 6 months did he?

The D. Eagle Trump is not going to be swayed by the one time he was reminded of who the boss is. The power of freedom in the spirit animal, Talon the wise, is that of the American people. Talon the wise is but the harbinger of freedom and he hears our call!

They are as one.

Ur right. Dammit!!!!

But now that she is no longer the Devil'$ bargain...who among us will call BS on the corrupt # show?

Dig deep peeps. It is a CT site after all. We're all doubters and rebels.

Hell, I've authored threads that have been anti-Trump. You know this.

What most won't accept is that the people responsible for Trump are the leftists and democrats who nominated Hillary.

If it was anyone other than Hillary, Trump would not be president.

Period.

I have to disagree. Bernie rolled over way to easy. Trump would have intimidated him.

Now I can't participate in your thread because you attempted to use a transparent psychological ploy! But let me guess. It's either about something Clintons did in the 90's or your obsession with trying to paint everyone on the Left with the actions of 1% of college students?

It would have been close. We have way too many communists and socialists in the US.

I think it's important to note, that most of the approvers gave rational reasons for their decision, like policies, the direction the country has taken/is going, economy, jobs, etc..

But almost every dissaprover, chose to do so based on their feelings based on his character.

Nyet.

My reasons of personal loathing aside regarding his character and constant lying, I am opposed to the policy decisions he is making, the whirlwind of chaos that surrounds him, and many of his cabinet choices have been lacking, I believe there is smoke and fire related to Russia and this will be his downfall, I think the tear-down of the State Department is flat or dangerous for our country and the war beats around NK give me the extreme willies.

There's more I'm sure, but I will leave it at that.

Touche` on the proper spelling to conform..or toe to the phrase.

However, towing the party line, as in carrying for/instead is also appropriate.

"Towing the line" is not a thing.

Who tows a line?

A line of what? Fish?

"Carrying the water" would work.

Who tows a line? A sailor. It's a nautical term.
Glad to be of help in your education.

I think Prez. Trump has got it right on some things, but is off-track on other things, but everything political is so complex and swamp-like.

While the premise of the thread was a bit silly it has been overall funny. But it's also been, so far, a little saddening to see so many responses where people are either for or against based on things that aren't actually about anything he has done on the job.

Several reasons based on personality, behavior and even body without mentioning anything about his performance at, you know, being president.

Looks like more people than I expected have just straight up embraced the cult of personality angle.

Character definitely counts, but it seems people completely ignore everything else and let their hatred dictate all of their thoughts, to the point where he can't do any good in their eyes, at all, ever..

Is there even one vested member who drank the koolaid and will now say they regret it?

I can name things I don't like, and am willing and open to eventually saying Trump is doing a bad job, but its early.

And has already been said, with the alternative being Hillary, I think it will be quite difficult for me to totally regret my decision.

That is about as bipartisan as it gets, and I understand that it is still way to early to fully understand and evaluate Trump on his presidency, but up until now how do you think he is doing. I know he could potentially be dropped like a hot rock, but that has not been the case so far, at least imho.

Overall I approve.

To me, its a question of what your priorities as a voter were.

My big issues would have been as follows,

A close tie for #1 and #2 here.

#1 Outing the fact that the establishment politicians on both sides, the media, and the IC are all in cahoots and will subvert the American people to maintain power.

#2 Stopping regime change wars.

#3 Focusing on Americans with policy, instead of immigrants or refugees or other countries interests. In other words, not being a globalist.

I would say #1 he has accomplished. Well more like those groups outed themselves.

#2 is a mixed bag. Stopping financing Syrian rebels was great. Shooting down Syrian planes, Saudi arms deals and other things is very bad in my opinion.

#3 seems good so far, but much more needs done.

However, there are many other negatives. Dumb tweets attacking people, separate from that would be tweets on sessions, amateurish roll outs like the trans ban, etc.

But overall, I currently approve.

I know the left is never going to like anything Trump says or does. But to say he failed to follow through on his campaign promises is a bit disingenuous. Its like Trump saying he can run a marathon, then the left put people every ten yards along the entire course trying to Tanya Harding his kneecaps, then calling him a liar for not finishing the race.
