What did Obama do for the economy? Shipping thousands of jobs to China. Check. Increased rich poor disparity. Check. Bailouts to the corporate fat cats. Check. Economy growth lagged population growth in the Obama era. Check.

Your mother was very wise. President Trump beat Hillary because he made people FEEL better...more optimistic about what he was going to bring to America, as President.

He's still the same guy now. So what gives?

Hopefully a president doesn't do much...they don't run the economy. Every time they do things get worse.

I hate to say it but......are you still believing polls?
I don't believe any of them anymore.

The Rasmussen has been 2nd most accurate...after the IBT poll. IBT had Trump barely winning on November 9th. Rasmussen had him barely losing. All the others had Trump getting slammed by Hillary.

Maybe trump should have come with some ideas instead of said go guys do it sign your horrible Obama care lite.

Or maybe the repubs should have had a plan-they had like 7 years or so. When they said repeal and replace they were lying. Perhaps too much coke and easy women?

The facts are like I said, that they included people turned away at the border, not deportations. Obama was the opposite of Trump. He did everything in his power to bring in more illegals first then hand them a path to citizenship. His policies favored more non Americans then Americans.

Because he is no longer campaigning against Hillary, now he is representing the finest America has to offer...and it went from a mavrick fighter against some old corrupt witch to a jock snapping his towel at anyone he deems a sissy while red faced yelling at anyone that looks at him odd..very unbecoming. Just going with the psychological angle here the educated voter wants a comprehensive plan and not a 4 word mantra to repeat over and over. As pointed out, what has he actually done?

... AND Rasmussen is the Republican poll of choice (always skewed at least 5-10 points in favor of the Republican/right-wing option.)

You have to wonder, in the real world, if Trump's approval isn't closer to 25% (or less.)

The failure to get rid of Obamacare. Congress screwed the pooch on this one big time. I'd like to see their internals.

It's more like Senator John McCain "screwed the pooch". He's still ANGRY because candidate Trump said that he wasn't a war "Hero". McCain will throw America under the bus before delivering a "win" to President Trump.

(Trump shot himself in the foot by insulting McCain. Rubio and Cruz have forgiven him for the 2016 insults..maybe. But not McCain. He wants to go to his grave, knowing that he thwarted Donald Trump.)

You act like the economy was in shambles before he took office, like it was when Obama did after Bush . Things were already moving forward long before trump took office. Pretty much your whole list, do you remember what gas prices were 9 years ago? Also, trump says interest rates are too low, and they have gone up on home loans.

August 2, 2017 This is surreal! The Rasmussen Daily Tracking Poll has President Donald J. Trump with a DISMAL 38% Job Approval Rating. The lowest ever, since he was sworn in as President, just over 6 months ago. Link to Poll: www.rasmussenreports.com... Right now, here are the aspects of America that are important to most citizens... 1. Employment is HIGH. 2. Interest rates are LOW. 3. Gasoline Prices are LOW. 4. Inflation is LOW. 5. Stock Market - Employee 401k plans are SOARING in value. 6. No Terrorist Attacks of Significance. 7. Illegal Immigration is down 74%. Granted, ObamaCare premiums are skyrocketing, but the President can't fix that on his own. (And only 4% of Americans are affected.) With so many accomplishments in his first 6 months, how can President Trump's job approval be less than President Obama's was at this point? What are Americans looking for from President Trump, to make a majority of them happy with him? IMO, residents of most other developed countries would be THRILLED if their standard of living was as good! -CareWeMust

You stated very well why that poll is bs. People who hate Trump will not give him any credit for what he has done for the betterment of the U.S. But what do you really expect from people who need crayons and a puppy to deal with reality.

The 38% number is fishy. CNN reports Trump approval down to 33%.

$19,000,000,000,000 in debt. The basement is on fire, and you are sitting in the living room and don't know it yet.

The economy crash under Bush was sabotage by the Democrat controlled Congress. Bush had nothing to do with it.

The debt is useless. Congress can press a button and make all the debt disappear.

I really don't do that and am looking for a comprehensive plan from trump, all I see is arm waiving and blame.

I want him to focus on the most important things first, and stay on them until SUCCESS is achieved. He did that with Neil Gorsuch, but since then he's been like a hyperactive humming bird...on steroids!

ObamaCare, Wall, Immigration Reform, Tax Reform, Russia, Fire Comey, defend against MSM attacks, counter-attack MSM, boom-boom-boom-boom, like the apex of a fireworks display that never stops.

Again do you guys not realize what unemployment was when Obama took office. I don't care how may jobs you think went to China, when in 2009 unemployment was sitting at a staggering 10%. When Obama left office they were on a downward trend and breaking 5% When he left! Here read this and see for yourself! This is the unemployment rate by President. Do you know that when Clinton left office it sat a 4%. Well you do now! Another thing, you say Obama sent jobs to China, ask yourselves this. How many people who work for trump in some form, making his ties for instance do you think are American and live here? We can leave his family out of those numbers though!

You don't get to be a billionaire if you don't have energy of a super man. If being a billionaire is so easy, everyone would be a billionaire.

Obama didn't enact any policy that could have affected the economy. It's the business cycle.
