And the taste and let's be honest...The feel of it on their skin.
Wallow. That's the word that come immediately to mind.

Do you remember making this thread 2 days ago?
Stop taking Politics so Seriously

WTF do Trump tax returns have to do with anything at this point???

Maybe heed your own prior advice.

Yup and that thread also had nothing to do with me stopping my posts against Trump.

So I ask you, why do you think Trump is not releasing his tax returns?

TBH, I don't give a flying rats ass about Trumps F#ing tax returns.

Enjoy your outrage at this non issue though.

HIs tax returns are none of our business. The laws are there for a reason and even the president enjoys that protection.

Even if you accept that, its still a broken promise. Trump said he would release his tax returns repeatedly something he has not done.

Why not?

have to say seeing the russian narrative crumbling like an old potato chip and watching people desperately needing to resort to the old tax return bull

You know recently I have been reading a lot about Steve Jobs, his colleagues use to say he suffered from something called a "reality distortion field" were he would basically create his own reality and try to make it come true, Trump supporters are a lot like that. The Russia scandal is not "crumbling", so long as those investigations are ongoing the cloud of Russia remains.

Actually if you think about it, if Trump released his tax returns it might go some way to helping to lift that cloud.

hmmmm, yet you seem to be getting very emotional about it.

This is what I think, you know he should have released them, you also cannot think of any reason why he would not be releasing them unless he was hiding something so to deal with the massive cognitive dissonance you are getting all upset about it and melting like a snowflake and ignoring it.

real big issue isn't it

Well depending on what they would reveal it could be the biggest issue I think.

The answer is easy. He doesn't pay all that much in income tax.
Most tax is charged from salary, his comes from capitol gains and stock options etc, etc, etc.
Those are taxes differently.
That would be bad for his image.

Every other rich guy does the same thing but he would be crucified by the press.

What's even more suspicious is, even though Trump repeatedly promised to release his tax returns during his campaign, but now that it's rumored that Robert Mueller wants to get ahold of them, Trump freaks out and starts threatening Mueller that going through his taxes were crossing a line! Why?

Because Mueller may stumble across evidence that Trump has been laundering money for the Russian mafia.

Evidence the IRS themselves couldn't see? Do you really think they are that incompetent?

That seems to be the leading line of thought, basically he is not as wealthy as he pretends to be and he is worried about his image.

Not really a good enough justification for me, even if that is the truth, he made a promise to disclose those tax returns and he should do it.

Its a promise he made to those who voted for him.

Excellent question. Yes his fever towards Robert Mueller has increased exponentially since Mueller started down this financial trail.
I personally think trump is broke.
That's what he's hiding.
And I think he was laundering money for Russia somewhere along the line.
It's common Russian Kompromat to hold something that will show on a tax return over someone's head. They work it out that way for leverage if they need it.
You guys should read up on Russian espionage and control methods.

I am getting emotional? LMAO, you sir, are a true internet seer.

Excuse me while I go kick my dog and punch a hole in the wall.

Maybe take your own advice and take a break from politics, Trump is living rent free in your brain, and the results are not flattering.

Nobody would believe they were real anyways.

And, yet, all Trump would have to do is authorize the IRS to verify they are authentic and put to end any speculation.

*cough*

ETA: Or allow the IRS to release copies of them directly. That would be another simple solution that Obama never did to end speculation.

And he never will...

I don't think they show anything besides him legally scamming the system, but he never will.

I see it the other way, he made a bunch of money and didn't pay huge on taxes.

Why does Obama believe he shouldn't comply with record releases that his predecessors did of their own volition? Hiding something?

Good point. Al Capone was caught by IRS for money laundering. Same can't be said of Trump or any other billionaire.

Given all the leaks so far, somebody inside the IRS would have revealed any problems by now.

Just like the "Russians" thing, it's a dead fish on a sunny beach.

Any chance they would be released is now gone in my view.

After a year of dishonest media adding 1 + 1 to make 5 and fuelling an agenda with fantasy, the President would be utterly mad to let these morons scour over his tax returns and turn something innocuous into huge scandal. Hell a Russian buying one of his properties has already been turned into Russian mafia money laundering, LOL.

The bottom line is, if you can't be trusted with information, you should not be provided with information. The media and the people who parrot their headlines, have already proven beyond doubt that they are unable to objectively review his tax returns, so why would he allow you to see them?
