Actually, if you read back a bit, the discussion regarding Clinton is instructive ...

... Trump cultists spouted off something about Hillary selling uranium to Russians, they were corrected, and then they launched into the elaborate conspiracy theories regarding the Clinton Foundation.

Yet, they believe simultaneously that Donald Trump Jr. STATING PUBLICLY that he colluded with Russian agents during the campaign is "conjecture."

It's utterly amazing.

Actually you were corrected, after you read politifact and thought that was the full picture. After you were corrected you had to concede there were varying and conflicting views on exactly when the the payments to the Clinton foundation occurred and how much Clinton was involved in the decision.

I believe your fall back argument was that none of it mattered because the uranium was still in the US and Clinton didn't 'sell it to anyone'.

Its not a post about Trump

It was a post specifically about Hillary and Uranium one.

We didnt even bring it up.

LOL

She is currently under investigation.

Also, an insulting post about Trump supporters where none of the facts are contested, how novel!

No we supplied facts that were not contested.

We were told she didnt sell it. Ok we never said that.

We said she and Bill directly PROFITTED from the sale.

Bill by passing along state dept info in documented paid speeches in Moscow from his wife to the same Kremlin controled investment bank that ended up buying Uranium one.

Hillary pushed for the transaction to go through by way of state dept recommendations and through her donors who did the same.

Russian investment donors flooded the Clinton foundation with MILLIONS of dollars during and after the deal.

Please contest the evidence offered.

If you cant, your opinion is irrelevant to the facts you have to accept or ignore only.

Are you trolling again like you admitted to doing before?

"Corrected"??? LOL

I was "corrected" on a discrepancy between reporting between the NYT and Politifact about the dates of some contributions to the Clinton Foundation.

There is and was zero doubt (among anyone still in touch with the real world) that Clinton didn't "sell" anything to anyone, least of all uranium, she didn't "sign off" on the Uranium One deal, it was approved by the 10-member Committee on Foreign Investments AND the Nuclear Regulatory Commission AND all uranium mined will end up back in the United States after refinement in Canada.

Let's contrast that with your posting of an article by a Republican operative and claiming that it proved that the Washington Post had adopted a new policy toward the Trump Russia scandal.

You don't even recognize the difference between news stories and opinion pages.

But please, keep trying to cover up your embarrassments by claiming that others are as misinformed as you are.

Just for the record... this is the point at which Clinton and Uranium One came into this discussion.

I'm just asking you. Hillary gave Russia Uranium One. What has Trump and his admin ever given Russia?

Of course, when this was corrected, several Trump cultists had to jump in and spout fringe conspiracy theories and unsubstantiated rumors and conjectures.

Like I said, conjecture is fine as long as it's directed at "enemies of Trump."

Meanwhile, in the topic supposedly devoted to a "dying narrative" about Trump Russia, new information comes in on a daily basis. LOL

I am just pointing out that you were in fact incorrect (again), and had to back track.
Perhaps you should do more than check politifact to get your information... it usually shows you up.
Do more work.

Sure sure.

That's part of your tactic ... you make some vapid statement about someone else "being wrong" and then proceed to act as if you've proven something.

You haven't.

Perhaps you shouldn't present the New York Times as gospel one day and suggest that it's fake news the next.

Also, perhaps you shouldn't present Republican operatives as independent reporters.

... while we're handing out unrequested advice.

Clear indications that the "Trump Russia scandal" isn't going away anytime soon ...

Senators push to protect Mueller - CNN

Washington (CNN) Support is gathering behind a bipartisan push to protect special counsel Robert Mueller from potentially being fired by President Donald Trump.

Sen. Thom Tillis, a North Carolina Republican, and Sen. Chris Coons, a Delaware Democrat, plan to introduce a measure Thursday that would bar the President from directly firing any special counsel -- retroactive to Mueller's appointment in May.
"The President would maintain the power to remove the special counsel, but we would just want to make sure that it had merit and have that back-end judicial process," Tillis said Thursday morning on CNN's "Newsroom."
"And if there is a termination, we just want to make sure, through judicial review, that it was warranted," he added.

And oh my ... what a coincidence ...

Special Counsel Robert Mueller Impanels Washington Grand Jury in Russia Probe - Wall Street Journal

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington to investigate Russia’s interference in the 2016 elections, a sign that his inquiry is growing in intensity and entering a new phase, according to people familiar with the matter.

The grand jury, which began its work in recent weeks, signals that Mr. Mueller’s inquiry will likely continue for months.

and from CNN (for those who don't subscribe to WSJ) ...

Reuters reported that subpoenas had been issued in connection to Donald Trump Jr.'s 2016 meeting with a Russian lawyer.

CNN

And yes, both articles cite "unnamed sources" ... so if that stops you, you'll just have to stick your head in the sand or your fingers in your ears and wait for the formal announcements.

"Trump Russia is dying?"

Not by a long, long, long shot.

LOL ... I "took the bait" because it just showed up. We ARE discussing the MEDIA coverage of the "Trump Russia Scandal" remember?

Well, the "breaking news" is just that ... continuing MEDIA coverage on the ONGOING investigation into the Trump-Russia Scandal.

You folks just happen to be dead wrong in your premises. Sorry reality is dashing more Trump dreams.

But not much.

The Many Paths from Trump to Russia - CNN

Special Counsel Robert Mueller and committees in both chambers of Congress are investigating Russian meddling in the 2016 election and whether there were any links or coordination between the Trump orbit and the Russian government.

Gosh, that guy at the Post that claimed that the Trump-Russia Scandal is going away really must be embarrassed.

It would appear that the year long narrative is now almost dead, with the illusion of Russian election interference aided by Trump taking a back seat (presumably as there is no evidence).

The focus now seems to be on Trump business dealings prior to ever running for office.

At least it can come out into the open now that the whole narrative was just false and that the real aim is to find any way to remove the President because the election did not go the way the establishment wanted.

Better for liberals to drop the pretence and just admit that the pain of not getting their own way on Nov 8th has led to a struggle to nullify the election by removing the President any way they can. It started with trying to get the electoral college to reverse the election result, moved on to trying to close down the inauguration and then the fake Russian story .. now onto investigating the Presidents entire life.

There is nothing quite like a liberal scorned.

They seem to have gone to extraordinary lengths to keep Russia in the news cycle .As one aspect (the election) is only producing a dead cat bounce the new (sanctions) will take center stage of the news cycle .Americans are not known for their grasp of geography but I would suspect that more and more Americans will be able at least to find Russia on a map now .Thanks in most parts to Google Earth and the constant msm use of its name .
