Because if he were to launch an attack on the South or wider region Mr Kim would lose the support of China ,it would likely be them who would retaliate to stop America getting involved.

I don't believe Mr Kim is either crazy or suicidal but I do believe he is playing the only card he has to get what he wants , he knows launching an offensive will be the end of him and his country.

I asked you what has America achieved with war? And more specifically - by starting countless wars? America didn't start a war with hitler or have much to do with winning it either, but I guess you don't know your history either. Infact - your major corporations supported him.

We did supposedly for the past eight years, and I don't see that it made much difference. Lil' Kim still fired off whatever he chose whenever he wanted.

Shame North Korea is ruled by someone who knows there will be no real consequences ever because China has his back right up until he actually pops off a nuke, but by then it will be too late for whole lot of people.

On topic, Guam has seriously been a concern of mine regarding these missile launches for that very reason every time they said "Oh they can only hit Alaska" And all I can think is..... OK So what is Guam then? Chopped Liver?!
