The company said it is a misinterpretation. Look at the bag, it says Hitler or Hitter.

I don't see the problem. Was Adolf the last person in the world to have the surname Hitler?

Is it now a banned surname?

What if some poor bloke was born with the surname Hitler?

Would they ban him from school?

This would not be a problem if people would stop using damn stupid cursive. It is outdated and unnecessary and just causes confusion such as the topic at hand.

Stupid cursive, it is time you go extinct!

Perhaps someone checking their work would have saved some time and money in this case?

I can tell that you don't like cursive.

If some poor kids was named Hitler (barring a name change) he had better learn to fight or run.

I tried. He just kept asking where his water heater is and why can't he get proper tech support for his house.

Uncomfortable.

There was a documentary awhile back that the only people in the United States with the last name of Hitler, three men who happened to be his cousins, changed their name decades ago and decided not to have any children.

I can certainly see where a person would mistake it for hitler, but the word I initially sawr was what the guy intended for it. Tough break for that guy having to apologize for something unintended tho.

When's the last time you met an Adolf?

People with the last name Johnson will name their kid Richard, bit not Adolf.
It's better to be Dick Johnson than Adolf Johnson.

Conversely, this would not be a problem if people would bother to learn cursive.
