I do know a lot of small Cessna parts started of in P40 Kittyhawks.GA Nomad top lights are the same design as the British WW2 type.Ive seen 1940 British Fuel primers in Winjeels,which started off from Massey Ferguson tractors.Aircraft mirrors started off from British MG mirrors fitted to Ww2 Spitfires and Hurricanes for extra rear view vision.
An old saying.....All roads today started off from the size of 2 horses asses...
