There were and are many good Chinese people, one third of the world's population of today live there but the Chinese were at war with Japan whom had invaded them and formed colony's by use of military force, committed atrocity's every bit as bad as those that happened in Europe but with there own eastern flavor such as the rape of nanking.

China was not NAZI Germany's natural ally but Japan whom were at war with china and suffering sanction's from the US and British Commonwealth were so it would be a better question to ask if the German's had Japanese soldiers in France but here is the point about there alliance they were not friend's, they were not even really close but had an alliance of convenience, the German's believed they were the superior human race and guess what the Japanese believed they were the superior human race so you can see that though distant these two freight train's would one day have collided with a loud bang.

But back to good Chinese, there was an ambassador to Austria from the Chinese official government of the time whom knew about the NAZI extermination camp's and did all he could to help as many Jews as he could to escape the Nazi's, even going against his own superior's orders he stamped exist visa's for thousand's of them and is also know as the Chinese Schindler.

It is easy to hate communism or to hate some of China's history especially Mau's mass murders of his own people AFTER the second world war in which they had already suffered decades of atrocity's and tragedy and it is also easy to forget that they suffered the longest of any nation in the second world war.

And then despite the atrocity's of Japan there is also a very similar gentleman whom also had a good heart whom was the Imperial Japanese ambassador to Lithuania.

These war's were not really war's of people but of tyrant's and empire builders and these two case studies show that men with nothing to gain and even a lot to lose will sometime's do all they can to help those in need, even those with whom they have nothing in common showing a shared humanity and grace of spirit that can not be forgotten and indeed they should be held up as beacon's of what we should all aspire to be.

But tactically back to the simple main theme of your thread, IF the German's did not regard the Chinese as sub human which they actually did and if they had a large Chinese army in France it would have boosted there position immensely, the same if they had a Japanese army despite them both regarding the other as a friend of convenience but inferior to themselves.

Meanwhile though the Allies including the British Commonwealth and many from french colony's were racially diverse and literally from all around the world.

A piece of fresh fruit, perhaps? How about a bunch of loganberries?

I've not seen fruit win too many fights against trained opponents, and the mother in law makes lovely vodka with loganberries so they're definitely out

Maybe a really big melon though, and some marrows grow to a fearsome size.

I could well believe that a giant squash could do away with a martial artist though, if somewhere in our army of fresh produce we had some stock capable of causing a distraction while others launched/rolled the squash.

So i think that the root vegetable kingdom may have the power to overcome kung fu should the need ever arise.

I was referring to the Monty Python "Self Defence Against Fresh Fruit" sketch. I would post a link but don't know how to - you could Google it, though. Very funny.
