Well here's one that got slipped under the radar and was only reported at 10pm....

Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy National Security Adviser met with the House Intel Committee behind closed doors.

The House Intelligence Committee met with former Obama deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes, according to a report Tuesday.

It was already known that Jared Kushner, top adviser and son-in-law to President Trump, on Tuesday spoke with members of the panel, which is investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election and possible ties to the Trump campaign. CNN's Manu Raju tweeted Tuesday evening that the network's chief political analyst Gloria Borger had learned that Rhodes also spoke to the committee.

Seems there is definitely a behind the scenes major investigation going on.....all signs point to big problems for the former administration here.

This couple with the announcement that Sessions is supposed to make and the Awan story breaking....

Grab the popcorn y'all!

Oh something tells me this is the lead up to the August 21st Eclipse.

July 23rd new moon in Leo.

The August eclipse is in Leo as well I am going to safely assume we are about to get some real big news.

Dems better start moving to different countries.

Doubt anyone will be carrying this tomorrow. Purposely dropped at 930pm so as not to be picked up.

So why does the Obama crew get closed door sessions and late media coverage whilst the Trump camp is rolled out on the media hitlist on a daily basis? (Rhetorical)

It just astounds me how blatant the agenda is. Someone has got to be clean and someone dirty. The fact is, they are all dirty, just to what extent. My guess would be the ones behind closed doors....

"Intelligence Commitee" ... really ?

Too much 'anti' ... you guys need to get behind your current govt.
Too much energy wasted on Trump better spent on current issues.

Isn't it amusing how Democrats still whine about people like Kushner and Mannafort when they testify, saying they should have done it publicly, whilst they are not even acknowledging the private hearings involving people like Rhodes...

Fakes News is more about the stories they don't cover than the fake stories they publish

Tonmorow is gonna be a good day

As thought...not a peep on this anywhere....the FAKE NEWS bias knows no bounds. I'd say a former Deputy National Security Adviser being called in is bigger than anyone of late....

The only MSM reporting mentioning this so far is the WaPo :

Manafort testifies to Senate Intelligence Committee, turns over notes from Trump Tower meeting with Russian lawyer

Ben Rhodes, an adviser to President Barack Obama, confirmed he was also interviewed by Senate Intelligence Committee staff on Tuesday. Michael Gottlieb, an attorney for Rhodes, said he “was pleased to cooperate” and is “fully supportive of efforts to investigate Russia’s unprecedented interference in our democracy.”

And Grassley and Feinstein announced they had reached an arrangement with another witness they had subpoenaed to appear Wednesday: Glenn Simpson, the co-founder of Fusion GPS, a firm behind a dossier written during the campaign that included salacious but unverified information linking Trump to Russia. Trump has vigorously denied the dossier’s allegations.

Simpson initially said through his lawyer that he would invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination if forced to appear. But on Tuesday, he agreed to a transcribed interview behind closed doors, Grassley and Feinstein said. A lawyer for Simpson, Joshua Levy, declined to comment.

I'm going to do what you guys do whenever there is a break and expansion in scope of the Trump investigation, "No evidence. Prove it. This is a nothingburger."

That is a stupid proclamation because it is literally impossible to report on every goings on in the world, country, state, city, etc. Even the most important events.

What kind of proof do you want ?

Maybe this is part of the reason why it's not being bandied about on all the news networks:

Could it be significant, after all, that the president of CBS News, David Rhodes, is a brother of Ben Rhodes, who was a top Obama aide, while at “This Week” there is the Stephanopoulos link to the Clintons.

Anything that proves there is meat to the OP's insistence that the Obama administration is about to take a bunch of legal heat just because someone from it was interviewed. There is less evidence that Obama or his administration is guilty of legal wrongdoings than there is that Trump or his administration is. So saying that this particular "nothingburger" actually means something more but that HUGE investigation in Trump and Russia is nothing is hypocritical analysis.

I guess 'time will tell' is the most pragmatic answer.
So far, time hasn't told us anything sensible about the Trump/Russia allegations but it doesn't prevent manyto fantasize about it.

Just try to ask yourself the right questions and focus on what we know rather than what you would like to see :

Why is Rhodes being asked to testify ?
Is Ben Rhodes the brother of David Rhodes ?
Is David Rhodes the president of CBS news ?

Well I'll just continue to think this story is full of # then and it is a nothingburger.
