Last night, President Trump said that as he experienced first-hand how Washington D.C. politics operates, he learned that it's worse than a SWAMP, and even worse than a CESSPOOL. He now views U.S. Govt in Washington D.C. as a SEWER.

From what you see in the below article that describes the HUGE hypocrisy shown by both Houses of Congress in their investigations this year, I don't know if ANY high-level people can be trusted to put America/Americans FIRST.

Article: www.washingtonexaminer.com...

If you had just awoken from a 6 month coma today, you'd think that Democrats swept the Republicans last November, and are in charge.

For example..an excerpt from the article link:

""In another example of justice delayed, Susan Rice, President Obama's national security adviser and ambassador to the United Nations, initially reportedly refused to testify, then delayed her testimony. It has now been revealed that she "quietly met behind closed doors Friday with Senate intelligence committee investigators." (Note that "quietly" was never an accommodation afforded to Kushner, nor Trump Jr.)""

Why are committees in the Republican-led HOUSE and SENATE going after their own President's people with such intensity, while letting members of the former Democratic administration off the hook so easily?

Take Attorney General Jeff Sessions.. For such a tough guy, he sure recused himself fast from anything related to Russia. That was DUMB. Or, maybe he planned it that way, so HE wouldn't have to potentially name a Special Council to investigate President Trump. Jeff Sessions campaigned tirelessly with candidate Donald Trump. He knows from hearing many hours of campaign speeches, and audience reactions, WHO and WHAT he should be investigating. Instead, AG Sessions goes after Marijuana users and ways for authorities to seize assets of U.S. citizens!

I won't even go into how top Congressmen have been exposed as putting medical lobbyist, ahead of American lives, when it comes to healthcare.

Thanks to President Trump pulling back the curtain, we can now see that Washington operates just like a caustic, poop-filled SEWER.

Trump doesn't represent the Republicans or the Democrats. He has the audacity to represent 'We the People' and the DC filth can't stand him for it.

So you are telling me Trump made us realize all this??
Everybody knows Washington is a cesspool of garbage and corruption....why is this new and why are you crediting Trump for "showing us" something that is common knowledge??
I think even a grade 3 student knows this already.
If people are shocked by this...it only shows they were never paying attention to begin with.

Meh...its the mud pit.

Yeah good article.
It's incredible how Hillary and Obama's Leftist goon squad try to call the shots on when they are testifying and then plead the 5th on everything.
And members of Trump's team are asking the Committees "How fast do you want us there to testify?"

That right there, irregardless of ones personal feelings about the guy, or ideological reactions to his policies, it seems to me that any "REAL PERSON" ought to be able to make note of this one key silver lining of this whole melodrama. Some like to insist that he's really one of them, its all some big elaborate con. Well, maybe, but even still, it isn't being managed very well because beyond all the rabid liberal meltdowns, and wild accusations, etc, the inner guts of the "Two Party + MSM + IC + MIC System" have been on wide open display as never before for those whom can see beyond their own partisan doodoo sniffing noses.

You got that right. I wish there was a way for us to help him pump out the D.C. sewer.

President Trump's methods of speaking directly to voters brings to light things that a good many of us never cared about...until now. He brings enlightenment to a lot of people.

Yep..that's an excellent summary. Once you see the hypocrisy spelled out in a single article like that, it drives home just how bad things are in D.C.. And, you understand why President Trump is so disappointed in Jeff Sessions. Trump knew that Congress had very little integrity. But he was counting on Jeff to counter-punch..and go after the prior administration, once it was learned that the prior administration had gone after him.

Indeed! For the American public, it's a pleasure to have a President who isn't worried about future donations more than he is the American public. President Trump is doing just what we sent him to Washington to do.

Like he said tonight in Ohio, acting educated, diplomatic, smooth, and "Presidential" will not get Americans the improved quality of life we deserve.

AMEN to that!

How many presidents before Trump called the US Gov. in Washington D.C. a pile of floating feces?

If you can answer this you win a cookie.

It is one thing "being in the know", It is something very different when a person at the POTUS position makes it public.

Could very well be a watershed moment and may even open some eyes that are totally ignorant to just how bad they are getting f%cked...

If Presidents know that there is intelligent life beyond Earth, President Trump is, so far, the one most likely to let the world know.

It doesn't matter if anyone else did or not, stating the obvious to the public is still playing Captain Obvious while Oblivious.

Edit: It ranks up there with the sky is blue, and the Pope being Catholic. DC is a slithering, self-interested snakepit? YA DON'T SAY!

the problem is you need to be shocked by this but you are not shocked..

So now corruption is so normal you don't have the energy to face it.

Not saying im not in the same boat, just saying, that boat lets it happen.

I can't see what is happennig clise up, but it appears Trump the wsy he is, exposes more of the filth than an Obama or Bush.

I have to say Im pleased with that soecific outcome so far.

more people need to know. And now that the game is being shook, watch closely how the pieces act. WATCH the pieces. Trump just makes people react.. HOW do they react is what's important.

Or, he might lie about knowing about intelligent life beyond Earth just to get the vote of people who really do.

Trump screaming about the sewer he has helped create, is nothing short of lunacy. His methods as a businessman and those of his ilk, are precisely the reason that things operate the way they do. Businessmen of his sort, offer kickbacks to politicians so that they will agree to support their endeavours, which he knows all too well, because it is the sort of thing he would, and has done. If this was not the way of things, then politicians would be:

a) Fewer in number

b) Lesser in financial power

c) Actually focused on their actual job, as opposed to what they can gain from it personally.

And another stark hypocrisy, HE IS ONE OF THE PEOPLE INSERTING INDUSTRY FIGURES INTO POLITICS! Rex Tillerson, oil man, shady mover, and all round cretin, is a great example. I hear that he is making the kind of noises that a man on the verge of leaving his post would make, and so much the better, but he is just an example of the sort of self interested, morally defunct, ethically questionable individual that Trump is willing to insert into politics. I cannot stress enough, that a man who inserts this sort of person into the political sphere, has no business calling anyone, or anything out on the basis of ethics and morality.

Simply put, Trump occupies the low ground, not the high, and people should not be shocked in the least that he has failed to represent the people by way of his appointments. Placing dinosaurs in posts which need filling by persons of modern and advanced thinking, placing industry heavy hitters in posts which ought to be there to protect the people from the predatory nature of big business interests, and he has the audacity to call out others?

The man has no stable platform for calling these people out! He lacks sophistication, tact, or the moral high ground necessary to make good his promises, or to create anything but a fascist dystopia from the remains of the country he is currently about the business of destroying the reputation and the society of.
