i dont believe he used cgi (and if he used he probally used it rarely) but holywood level pratical effects
romanek is playing the "stupid guy", a trick that another infamous ufo hoaxer used (hint: his home is in europe in a country that has mountains), he says that he doesnt know what the equations he "channeled" while in truth he knows what they mean, he also knows a lot about pratical effects

What really clued me in to how much of a fraud he was is what he did to his wife; essentially cheating on her with her knowing and convincing her this other woman was another experiencer and they were starseed soulkin or whatever BS he was spewing.

Well the way he tells it he was at some conference or something and met this woman he was drawn to. She seemed drawn to him too. They struck up a friendship and eventually this culminated with this woman moving in with Romanek and his wife. He claims they had alien babies or some other such nonsense together and would go off and do their own thing from time to time.

Of course he says they never did the deed but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out exactly what was going on. The wife is on camera defending him and this other woman but when you watch her talk about you can see how unsettled it seems to have made her. That poor wife.

Sorry to hear about that, sir. I recently lost both of my grandparents, who were like parents to me, to a similar set of illnesses. Talking to the person who raised you and having them not know who you are is beyond difficult. I hope you have people around you to help you through this incredibly difficult time.

All i hear is this 'could be done this way' or 'seems to be done this way'. In this day and age every video can be replicated through digital enhancement and so from this point of view one can always say 'well it could be done this way using such and such program and then one could get similar results'.

You could apply the same type of "debunking" to almost everything.

i just decided to see the damn documentary (dont ask) the other day, and i must say i noticed two oddities:
1: alejandro rojas (the owner of the open minds website) of all people believes that he is legit, wich struck me as very odd, i thought he was one of the good guys, also surprising but not as much was seeing leo sprinkle being a believer too
2: harold e. putthoff was mentioned wich makes me think that a TTSA crossover is coming very very soon
anyway i have nothing really to say, i dint really find anything laughable despite what the others said, UFOnaut peeping toms are older than romanek's boo video, they were very common in the ufological golden age (50's-70's), this behaviour fits the deceptive nature of the ufo phenomena

I seen an interview where he apologized for that pen throwing one.
Claims he had the porn dumped on his computer and it was a set.
Also said the reason why he did the pen crap was because he was told to after his family were threatened.

It's a damn shame what the government did to Stan Romanek. The cop who brought these charges against him is brady listed, i.e. he has been caught lying and being corrupt, think of that whatever you will. For me personally, this is one of the very few cases wich has tons of evidence that really couldn't be reproduced with "pedestrian" equipment at the times that it was taped/recorded/photographed.

People seem to be quite paranoid when it comes to UFO/alien conspiracies that someone might think they believe a particular thing, especially someone who has been the target of intense military counter intelligence campaigns like Stan Romanek. This observation does not mean that I believe or disbelieve anything about him, only that it is an interesting sociological observation.

When AFOSI activates a counterintelligence operation against someone like Stan Romanek for example, it also doesn't necessarily mean that their target is legitimate. The most successful programs are the cases like Stan Romanek's which give the appearance of obvious hoaxer and their evidence is so ridiculous in appearance it is very easy to discredit and people will jump on the bandwagon in droves completely destroying their target just like clockwork.

It doesn't matter if they were real or hoax, because AFOSI will act against anyone who threatens the continuing goal of discrediting any alien visitation evidence no matter if it is real or not. I lived on Kirtland Air Force base in Albuquerque New Mexico for a couple years when the now infamous Richard Doty was there, and I am very familiar with the things that they will do to people who witness aliens, or think they have, or say they have.

Sadly, not many people understand what this means or how it could affect their own life. Stan Romanek has been beaten almost to death at one point to stop presenting his videos and stories. I'm just trying to show there are other strange things happening that the public isn't aware of that elements of our government are pursuing when it comes to the subject of alien visitation. He was also convicted of child porn possession on his computer last year. From what I have read about all the corrupt police and people who have targeted Romanek, the evidence was obviously planted on his computer to destroy him further.

People think they are so smart when they jump on the "He's a hoaxer" dog pile bandwagon, and completely miss the real crimes that are taking place. And they do this to avoid being thought of as a fool for possibly believing evidence that people feel quite confident it is hoaxed and ridiculous. That all by itself is an interesting sociological issue that goes on, ignored by all the arm chair experts.

huh i heard something similar in the john keel book i am currently reading, a guy was having CE3 encounters (no evidence of any of them though) when suddenly a MIB came and told him to lie in a lie detector test or they would kill him
however knowing stan's reputation i ain't sure if i believe that
