You have the moderates who like big government but simply think they can run it better and you have the conservatives who are really more traditional small government, classical liberal types.

I personally have never said we lost because of Russia, but none of us know YET on exactly what the Russians did that was so "sophisticated" to influence our election. None of you can say (but you do it all the time) that the Russians did not try and influence our election. If Comey had not reopend the email investigation days before the election, I will say I 100% believe trump would have lost, as he did the popular vote by Millions.

It wasn't a particular political party that caused Trump to be elected, it was the overall dissatisfaction of both political parties who continued to ignore the voice of their constituents. It's been building for years, the American public has been disgusted with their government representatives. Americans were looking for someone who wasn't a career politician, someone that would shake up government and listen to the voice of the people.
Sometimes our demand for change clouds our logical sense of judgement. Unfortunately, Trump is not that man many were seeking. Trump just happened to be the candidate at the right time and place. Unfortunately, people wanted a non-politician so bad, they ignored the numerous red flags that accompanied Trump. The public wanted someone who could relate to them, but found out a billionaire just like millionaire career politicians can never relate to struggling Americans!
Trump saved the 2nd amendment which is what people voted for, anything he does after that to piss off the Democrats is just icing on the cake.
