So this fat Kislyak dude, an ethnic Ukrainian who betrayed his own people to become Russia's attack dog, says he discussed the election with Sessions sometime last year in the election. Again, Russia tries to undermine the US federal government. Russia's goal is to weaken its global rival America. And it's doing a fine job thus far.

U.S. intelligence agencies intercepted a conversation in which Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak claimed he had discussed President Donald Trump’s campaign and policy positions with then-Sen. Jeff Sessions during the 2016 election campaign, The Washington Post reported Friday.

The intercepted conversations suggest Kislyak and Sessions, now Trump’s attorney general, had “substantive” conversations about Trump’s position on Russia, and how he saw his relationship with the country’s government should he win the election, according to the Post report.

U.S. officials told the Post they had no way to verify if Kislyak was accurately recounting his conversations with Sessions.

He's a traitor to his own nation. He's just a big fan of Putin and the Russians.

Sounds like an EXCUSE for Trump to fire Sessions...appoint a new Attorney General ...

Trump wants Mueller GONE. Period.

and when evidence slowly begins the sip out, the rhetoric will be:
so what if he discussed the elections with him
or it's all fair play, or Russia is not the enemy or Clinton....

played like a fiddle, all of them.

Exactly what I came on here to say. Who could blame Trump if he were forced to fire Sessions.

Either way this who load of BS is making a mockery of our government. Maybe someone will wake up.

OR Russia is winning in a very dangerous game designed to bring America to it's knees.

Trump cannot shake off controversy long enough to be able to be effective at anything. And that is really a very big problem. It would seem that from the Russian side anyway, Trump is the gift that keeps on giving if one's goal is to bring their adversary down in a screaming heap.

What's with all these leaks about 2016 Trump campaign meetings and conversations, from the Washington Post and New York Times? Wasn't that info important last month, or 4 months ago? Why release it NOW?

What you describe is exactly what long-term PUTIN observers say he wants. Chaos within the USA, that gradually builds to anarchy. I guess at that point, Putin will make the White House his second home.

Seems to me to be yet another hit piece designed to distract from the real corruption happening within the DNC.

This story will spread far and wide while the other one will remain under-reported. Sad when you are able to see what's really happening and then realize that those that believe this narrative will continue to blindly follow it.

Because it doesn't fit their agenda ? Then how can they know if any of the people they are talking to be believed about their recounting any conversations with Russians , unless it fits what they want .

Kislyak is a puppet of the Clinton Obama cabal in Ukraine,
ties back to the leaked phone call between
McFaul and Nuland.

The other sources are "unnamed officials"

Fake news!

Trump and his opposition are the gift that keep on giving. Putin has found a way to use the US's decisiveness against us. And our leaders are selling out the rest of us for short term political gain.

You're right! Susan Rice backed out of testifying this week, and there was barely any mention of it in the liberal MSM.

Imagine the response if Trump Jr. or Kushner backed out of their Intelligence Committee interviews this coming week.

This is old news. The first time I heard this was around the same time that Trump met with the Russians in the Oval Office, and they leaked that Trump said that he had fired "nut job" Comey, along with the pictures of them all yukking it up. Kislyak was at that meeting too.

Oh boy can't wait when people realize that Mueller is actually working for Trump and not against him. The Democrats demanded a special counsel and played right into his hands. Still waiting on a story about Flynn working as a spook though. His tweets right before the whole russian hoax started are very telling.

I want to see the good guys win for once.

You are both on to it I fear.

This is not about whether Trump is a good president or not. It is about bringing the USA down. It is beginning to look like Russia has seized on America's ever growing political divide and is simply giving each side stones to throw at one another.

Meanwhile in the Kremlin Putin is sipping on his vodka, making villain hands laughing nefariously.

The only way for the USA to overcome this is to stop all the infighting and everyone come together to either back the democratically elected President or agree to at least stay quiet until the next election cycle starts.

You overestimate Russia. Russia can't even beat a bunch of sandal wearing salafist dudes in the desert in Syria. Russia is no threat to America. Not even a tiny little bit.
