Stop Making this About Clinton

How about "no"? What are you, the language police?

Its not really so much about trying to police the debate its more about how utterly moronic people sound when half way through a debate about Trump they start blabbering on about Clinton because they are on the ropes.

Stop Making this About Clinton.

Oh, its you.

Reminder: Its always about the current front man-- I mean front person. The presider, the scapegoat, lauded when the mission is successful, blamed when it goes bad. Taking the heat off the real perpetrators, The State department , the Pentagon and the Industrial Military Complex.

Like Hillary isn't done folks, not by a long shot. Anything she can do to keep her in the limelight as a topic of discussion improves her chance of getting back into politics, even if its only a small position, ' further down the trough '.

Hate me, love me, f--- me, kill me. I'll do anything.

"I am Hillary Ramrod Clinton, and I approved this thread."

You said most of us didn't think it could get any worse than with Bush... You should speak for yourself because most of us were happier with with Bush than with clinton, and, it definitely did get worse - with obama. For eight years all we heard was Bush this and Bush that. Well, get ready for eight years of obama this and clinton that. Fair is Fair...

Huh, your experience might have been anecdotal. Following the end of World War II and the large adjustment as the economy adjusted from wartime to peacetime in 1945, the collection of many economic indicators, such as unemployment and GDP became standardized.

Using those metrics, here is the conventional wisdom:

Following a mild recession[3] that ended in 1991, the U.S. entered into its longest period of economic expansion, lasting exactly 10 years.[1] Growth was fueled by the Dot Com bubble, as corporations and the federal government made significant purchases of computer equipment and software, especially during the last six years of the expansion.

Another brief recession occurred in 2001, followed by moderate expansion. The bubble in home prices that began in the late 1990s continued, fueling employment growth in construction, financial services, and other sectors related to housing. A steep recession began at the end of 2007, bringing an end to the Great Moderation, a period of stable economic expansion and employment growth that began in the early 1980s.

Following the Great Recession of 2008-2009, inflation continued to be subdued even as employment recovered, allowing for an unprecedented period of over six years when the federal funds rate was at a near zero level.[5]

The OP sounds like a payed CIA operative trying to hush all the juicy news coming out about the deep state. Hillary is central to most but not all of it. Human trafficking, running drugs, selling depleted uranium, organ trafficking, SilkWays, Amalgamated bank etc, etc, etc. A conspiracy theorists wet dream. We want more!!!

Yes, "whataboutism" is fallacious. But language policing is far worse.

and as I have said its not about language policing.....

If someone wants to go on a rant about Clinton then go for, am not going to stop them, but in the middle of a debate on a totally different topic it just looks silly.

Oh okay. So now she's out of the office. She can get away with her underground child porn slave sex ring without any repercussions. Why? She's not in office.

Let truly evil people pass and lesser evils feel the full scrutiny of your mindless bantering.

You libs are making a big deal out of Jr wanting dirt on his father's opponent. Granted it was from the Russians but you are the only one that sees a problem with that because Russia = bad.

If you think Trump is giving us a bad name and rep. It's your whinny attitude and destroying of privet property that has the US in a bad light with the rest of the world.

So jump on the Trump blame game. Seems to be fun. Everyone else is doing it...

Little people.

The only problem that I have with Hillary Clinton is the fact that she hasn't been indicted yet.

NO!!

That is not what this thread is about.

If I am say having a discussion about Trumps stupid big glass wall however and then you start talking about Hilary's sex slave ring then its a bit silly when its totally off topic.

Sure we can talk about that all you want, but why do it on a thread that is about Tumps latest tweet.

You had to throw in that lie about Hillary and sex slaves. That is a lie made up to make a body part grabber not look so bad.

I can make up stuff too.

Magnifies the point of the thread.

You're right, it's a form of tu quoque. It's not just Clinton. Many anti-trumpers bring up the treatment of Obama when talking about the treatment of Trump.

And that is just as much of a defection on there part. I guess what annoys me about it is that it take the debate off topic

When so much anti-Trump stuff is about how no president before him has ever done this or that when they damn well did, what are we supposed to say?

Like the latest: He talked to Putin privately at a dinner arranged for leaders of the G20. They were all there and he and Putin had a conversation. The media reported this as if it's a controversy that no other leader has ever done and somehow shady ... but all the leaders were there and every US president who has ever attended a G20 has gone to those events, likely has sat there and had conversations with Putin among all the other G20 leaders because that's what those events are designed for, etc.

The press is full of that type of reporting, and people make those kinds of threads now. In order to have perspective, you have to compare it to leaders past - Obama, Bush, etc.

Uh the economy recovered very well under Obama after exploding during George W. Bush's term. It took awhile, as such recoveries are apt to do, but things were certainly better by the end of Obama's term.

If you knew anything about what happened--both the cause and any recovery-- you would know that the presidency had nothing to do with it.

The issue is Trump, not Clinton

The issue is standards.

As in "double".

There are one set of standards for Trump and another for Obama/Hillary/etc.

Too bad if we keep brining up the double standards that so many have.
