I left Freemasonry in 2016, and I am happy to discuss the subject.

If all these men had their own power to do their own will, how is it that their actions could be foreseen?

The ability of Jesus to know doesn't take away from one's choice to do.

And how on earth, did the "magi" know that Jesus was born, before they even met the kid?

I'm pretty sure they wrote about this.

Can swearing an oath make any difference to the actions that will come to pass?

Maybe. You don't know.

Actually, I do know.

He who is destined to break his oath, will break his oath, because he cannot keep his oath if God has will he speak out.

It was nice of the OP to make such a conviction ,not answer any complex questions and ditch out on his gown thread.

Actually, this is the problem I had with Freemasonry decades ago.

Freemasons said that the main requirement was a belief in a supreme being.

So, I said, yes, I believe in a supreme being, and I believe that I am He.

Then the Masons did a total "turn about" and said I couldn't join the Freemasons, even though I believed in a supreme being, because the candidate must want "to improve himself". And since Freemasonry's objective is "to make good men better," and God would not need to improve himself, I wouldn't be admitted into the craft.

That bummed me out. Because I really wanted to know what was going on inside the craft, without using my magical powers to peer into the hearts of the masons and divine their intents.

Took long enough to get to the root of the problem.

Really?

I see no problem at all.

Believe in a supreme being? Check!

That should have been enough.

Show us your omnipotence, tell me what I'm thinking right now.

Yes. You're thinking this guy is nuts.

I'm outta here. I figured this was an anti-Mason looking for clarification, but the guy is just playing games. First Jesus is his teacher so he can not take oaths, now he is god himself. I don't find this entertaining or beneficial to anyone.

Nope. Not even close.

I was thinking of Christopher Walken saying 'pineapple'.

You've been here long enough, this is the same old same old. Sometimes it takes a little longer to tease the crazy out but eventually it emerges.

Freemasonry doesn't need someone with a superiority complex.

I gotta say, claiming you're God is just a tad more than a superiority complex. Just a tad.

I guess I've become a bit too trusting and patient nowadays. It must be a result of Freemasonry influencing my ethics.

A better bet is to treat everyone on here like they're a patient.
