From being auto-corrected?

It's getting seriously frustrating to have to go back and edit almost EVERY SINGLE post I make where ATS automatically replaces my "an" with "and".

Is this a mobile thing?

I have NEVER had any kind of ATS-initiated auto-correction.

I doubt it. Considering I only use desktop, and have never used mobile ATS, if it is it SHOULD recognize me as a desktop browser.

Nevermind, I think it's Windows 10 auto-correct that was doing that......ignore thread.

(If anyone has ever run into this also, Settings>Devices>Typing>Auto-correct in Windows 10)

I didn't know win 10 had auto correct, thanks for the heads up.

One more thing to hate about the latest version.

It's YOU, not ATS.

Figure it out.

Glad you figured it out. I just found that and tried it not long ago and turned it right off. People will just have to suffer through my bad grammar and spelling without correction.

Yeah. Dont create your replies or threads in this box. Do it on your own tab, comptr, phone and correct. When it looks good...paste it and hit REPLY.

Youll never lose anything...and correct anything whenever....and however you want...or dont.

That's something I'm going to have to start doing. I've lost too many lengthy posts on this site. Usually uts because I hit the post button at the same time as someone else.
Or, I type it up, some sort of glitch occurs and my post turns out blank.

Thanks for the advice.

It's local to your computer. Mine doesn't do it.

Woah.... at first I was kind of chuckling when I read this but I actually had no idea win10 had an auto correct function like that outside of word doc apps.......

COOL!

Thanks for sharing. Glad you figured it out.

Actually, so was I when it was happening to me....imagine a 40's former Marine getting frustrated with his desktop and threatening to shoot the monitor at any moment...ok that wasnt me, but the thought did enter my mind more than once haha....

In my past experience with ATS I had also never had any type of server initiated auto-correct but who knows with SO, he might have tried to implement the feature during one of my protracted absences

I'm all about sharing, glad my pain could be of some value haha

How about 'Trump', 'Clinton', 'triggered', 'snowflake' and 'DB is hot'?

'Welcome...its came from a Mod years back...when I was losing stuff too...now I dont.

Hardest to overcome is to immediately comment on things!
