Well that was to be expected. What is it with Obama aides and their unwillingness to cooperate with the new administration and to answer some very simple questions? Meanwhile we have dozens of Trump associates and his own son that have no problem to testify. If they have nothing to hide why the stall tactics? I think Sessions should just subpoena her. She clearly doesn't want to be asked any questions and she even tried to play the racism card and because she is a woman excuse. Following the MSM logic that means she has something sinister to hide and should be forced to testify.

Susan Rice is no longer expected to visit Capitol Hill on Tuesday for a meeting with the House committee probing allegations she "unmasked" President Trump associates in Russian meddling probes.

Rice had been expected to face tough questions on her role in the matter while serving as then-President Barack Obama’s national security adviser. Trump alleges Rice may have committed a crime by asking government analysts to disclose the names of his associates documented in intelligence reports.

Second link to the article where she blames racism and gender bias.

What is that legal term a person can use to avoid testifying?

Rice has had more than 2 weeks to think up some lies. She must be neck deep in the doo-doo!

Yeah something doesn't add up. Even Flynn wanted to testify but nobody took him up on his offer.

I heard it was not cancelled but simply delayed??

I don't think such a high profile witness should be allowed to simply not appear. Obviously someone has made a deal, but even so, give a frickin reason.

considering that the article doesn't say why the meeting was cancelled and all I can find at the moment is that one report from fox news, I have to ask, how can you be sure that it was cancelled because rice decided she didn't want to go out and play???

Perhaps she received a little love note from a close friend that she used to work for.

Ye, the article says "Postponed" but doesn't go into detail as to why.

Interesting development.

or maybe something came up in the house that interfered with the scheduling??
I've read both articles twice, the only place in either the fox article or the newsmax article where I see it says that it was rice that cancelled was in the headline of the newsmax article!! and the newsmax article refers back to the fox article...

maybe I am wrong, but if I am, show me where either article states that is was her that cancelled?

Maybe she needs more time to work out an
immunity deal before she testifies...

Catherine Herridge on FOX just briefed that Rice is testifying behind closed doors this week. She didn't mention tomorrow the 18th but did say this week.

I think Catherine would be up on the current situation. I just wish it was a public testimony and not behind closed doors.

I am 100% against testifying in private. we will never no what was said, and decide for ourselves if it is significant. Closed door sessions are where crimes against the people go to get buried.
