Hope the little fawn's eye heals and it can be released back to wherever it is supposed to be.

Dogs are good people. Mine hasn't saved a deer, but he does protect the baby bunnies under my shed from the neighborhood cats.

Good dog!! Very nice story, and just the sort I prefer these days. Far better than all the political stuff!!

Great break in the madness, animals get along and care for one another despite species at times, too bad humans can't see that more so. I have a part lab dog, as they have a soft mouth, can tell he was very gentle with the fawn. Best hopes for a speedy recovery, if they can't locate the fawn's mom, maybe there's a foster doe at a rescue.
