I have waited to see a thread pop up on what's been happening in Jerusalem the past few days but I have yet to see one.

For everyone who is unaware of the situation 3 Palestinian "freedom fighters" or "terrorists" depends on how you look at it, took up arms and killed 2 isreali officers early in the morning Friday.

This resulted in the closure of the al aqsa mosque for 2 days. When it was reopened there have been new security measures which were placed. Metal detectors and cameras through out the holy site and at the gates. This has caused an uproar in the Muslim community in the Middle East.

Another issue is the two officers that were killed were Druze. Which is an Arab community that lives in Israel but they are more pro isreali. This is causing the two Arab communities to clash.

A lot of people are saying this may cause a third intifada but I highly doubt it.

The other thing is. The general population of isreal is calling for the complete closure of the Temple Mount and it be seized so they can build their new temple. Is this The new status quo? If they can close the Temple Mount for 2 days that means The Palestinians have already lost it even though it is under Jordanian control at the same time. This brings up a lot of different questions on whether or not that we are seeing the loss of the temple mount for the Palestinian people and the loss of Jerusalem all in all.

It is almost time for the 3rd Temple. We will see the temple mount come under control of the UN or Vatican soon.

Do you think that is what is giving them the feeling that they can start shutting down the Temple Mount and not care what other people say or think? You think they feel safe because trump and his cabinet have they're back? I feel like the United States has always had their back.

It never was owned by the Palestinians but by all of Islam . The Palestinians in reality own no land. They are a nomadic people who had land ceded to them by the Israelis as every Muslin country around had kicked em out because they were troublemakers...

I doubt the Temple Mount will ever come under control of the Vatican. That is out of the question. If the UN does ever gain control on the Temple Mount then I do believe we will see a shift. Remember the UN did not approve the Palestinian bid to become its own state. The UN will definelty not want Jerusalem be associated with Palestine. Nor will it want the Temple Mount be assoicated with them either!

The Temple Mount will never be under UN nor Western Control - ever
And if for some reason it ever does , that would be the Abomination of Desolation. Thus starting the end per both the Bible and the Quran

You are right that it belongs to Islam. But before 1947 the land was called Palestine. When the British ruled the land of was called Palestine. The Temple Mount belonged to Palestine. As much as you would like to erase the history you can't deny facts. I'm sorry. I know my history well. Well enough to know your being brainwashed.

It's ignorant idiots who are to brain washed and prideful to accept the reality of the situation and world history. I know this narrative makes isreal look horrible but that the reality of the situation.

I spent every Friday there of my childhood summers with my grandmother when she went for prayer. I would go vist Palestine every summer and am lucky enough to not just step foot once. I don't need to share a YouTube video. I can share personal videos and pictures. Let me ask you have you ever stepped foot into the Temple Mount not being escorted by army? No. I doubt it.

On a personal note, my grandmother that I mentioned passed away this past April. Her final wishes were to be buried at the al aqsa next to her father. Her burial was amazing and that would be an understatement. She was lucky enough to have been there right before afternoon prayer and everybody that was at the mosque prayed on her soul that day. So once again I did a little bit more then just step foot there. I have flesh and blood there. More then any connection you will ever have.

By the way your video is cute. Don't really get the point of what it has to do with the conversation. Seems like a tourist attraction video especially with all the trance music. Thanks for your pointless contribution!

Many times with no escort what so ever.
I never needed one, on the other hand I did take several off the Mount in cuffs.

Ah I see your another one of the sheep. It would be funny to see you try to wear your uniform and go in their alone. Without your back up. You can have all the gear you want. I'm sure you would regret that. But you know better then that. The palestians are strong. They are freedom fighters. You my friend are just another sheep. Without that M-16 I'm sure you would feel absolutely powerless. Coward.

and way before that it was called juda. named after judah a Israelite. and the word jew comes from. the romans changed the name trying to wipe the existence of the Israel off the map. why do you think that it is called the temple mount? not because there is a mosque there, it was the site of the first and second temples of the Israelites.

so apparently you don't know much history or your antisemitic.

Once again no need for misdirection. The Jewish and English name for it is "Temple Mount" and Muslims call the "Haram al-Sharif" (“Noble Sanctuary") . The site is supremely holy to Judaism, Islam and Christianity too.

before kind David conquered Jerusalem and paved the way for Solomon guess what he had to do? He had a war with the "philistines". Which means before the Temple was built that "philistines" were there before they were exiled.

Just because you call it a name does not justify your claim.

not misdirection it is a fact, there was no Islam until the 632 when a drunken pervert claimed he saw vision from God.
before that most arabs were polytheistic. as a matter of fact in the arabian peninsula Christianity was the dominant faith.
