Haha Manchurian candidate. You people are jokes. The REASON this was done is because apparently any reference to sex or gender is now offensive. Rather than fight the madness, they caved to make it the new norm.

I could not care less about the change itself, it's the thought behind it that is frightening.

Again someone please answer as to why you and others are not allowing an opinion that is different from yours. Also I'm guessing your stateside because there are many situations and places in the UK where sir and madam are used. The point being you may see this as a small change but for others this is the start of a slippery slope. Will children entertainers not be allowed to greet with the commonly used phrase "Ladies and Gentlemen, girls and boys"?
You say it's common sense why is it common sense? You are born male or female, if you decide to change your sex assigned at birth you are still male or female are you not? This was never an issue a few years ago but now it is. Why is that? Who really are the people with the faux outrage here? Hint. It isn't the people who feel that this has gone to far.

No one's disputing that men and women can cook. All that was pointed out in that thread was the fact that for so long there are ads that show men as being idiotic or less than useful and "women" know best.

ll I'm suggesting is that Misandry is real and if during the same period that those ads were shown; ads created showing women being "stupid" or idiotic they would never have been aired and if they were there'd be huge backlash.
