I deleted CNN from my news feed, I am tired of their BS. I won't go back.

I am sure they are sad you left.

Your comment illustrates perfectly CNN's rating problem. They just don't care, and people in droves can understand that.

CNN has no ratings problem. If you scroll back, you will see it has gained marked share, greatly, not lost.

People will say that all night though...I am tired of saying scroll up.

The echo chanber hurts my ears.

Oh...i scrolled up. I even checked every single link in the article you linked.

I will call your craptastic link out and ask you to please point to the exact link where you say they have Nielsen ratings in it.

Trouble is you can't. You sadly took a Variety article at face value without actually checking the links in it....all of which link to nothing but otger variety articles on other new stories.

Sad that nobody does research anymore and just takes stupid journalism at face value....then regurgitated the idiocy as scripture.

Like I said...prove me wrong please. Show me any link in your Variety article you are so adamantly defending that has the ACTUAL Nielsen ratings in it.

I AM BEGGING YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG.

I never once talked about ratings.

I said anyone that is watching CNN for news needs help.

True, my assertion stands.

The OP title talks of ratings. You may feel that people that watch CNN need help, but it doesn't make it true.

That's because needing help would be an understatement.

CNN viewers need to be locked in a mental ward.

As long as CNN get the bigly advertisers, they're happy. Cars, computers, air carriers, and other high dollar spots.

Fox....depends, viagra, eharmony, old people stuff...but they're happy to because there's lots of old people.

Doesn't change the fact that you're posting misleading, or FAKE NEWS.

From the Variety article..

All three major cable news networks saw increases in their ratings compared to the same period last year, but CNN and MSNBC saw the biggest lifts in all key measures. In total day, MSNBC was up 93% in total viewers and 78% in the demo. CNN was next, up 41% in viewers and 59% in the demo. Fox News was up 22% in viewers and 40% in the demo.

CNN is up 41% from last year.

Facts don't lie I'm sorry.

My news channel has cooler ads than your news channel.

God some of you are just so far down in the dumpster I genuinely pity you.

Don't pity me...I'm a stringer and get paid to know this stuff. Union proud, Union strong....I work for Fox as much as CNN and Fox pays better.

If we're talking trends, I think this graph reveals a more accurate picture as to what's going on:

CNN and Fox are trending downward (though CNN posted its best quarter recently), while MSNBC is surging. So how do you spin that?

Funny....it used to be that those who are older had more wisdom and were held in high regard because they had experienced more than those younger.

Anywho...heres to hoping your kids care enough to take care of you when your old.

I can just see it now. "Dad/Mom....we don't need to come visit you because the nurse at your healthcare facility is taking care of you....now about your will...."

Personally...I'll take advice from someone wearing depends, taking Viagra and doing old people stuff over a fresh out of college know it all any day of the week.

I'd even bet my livelihood on it.

But hey...crap on experience and wisdom all you want!

Perhaps you should actually look at the links being posted. What does it show for the 8pm - 11pm bracket? (prime time)

I'll ask you as well, since you're quoting a Variety article versus actual Nielsen ratings from the OP.

Please cite anywhere in the Variety article that references Nielsen ratings.

No...facts don't lie...Variety does.

Perhaps you should acknowledge that you're wrong.

If not, you're just another purveyor of the fake news you think you're battling.

Oh but they DO have a ratings problem. Everyone I talk to at work, and anywhere else laughs at the CNN idea. They don't watch it anymore. Of course being fake news, they can pay big bucks for a bunch of "official stats" being displayed attempting to refute the bad ratings. Are they saying their bad ratings is just a wild conspiracy theory too?

CNN SUCKS the gigantic but limp donkey banana, at least that's what I hear everywhere I go, even from democrats. Compared to 20 years ago when CNN actually reported news, their ratings are down. To say their ratings are up is like saying global warming is real because temps are up this summer.

Your link is a paid subscription.

Got anything that can be checked without paying for It?

Anyone can skew numbers on a graph and loosely base it on Nielsen....I'd like to see the figures they used because I have actually viewed the Nielsen rating and they show nothing like what this graph has posted.
