Democrats got dirt from a foreign power. Jr was willing to hear someone out.
Why do you care about him and not Democrats who actually did it?
An admitted former Russian spy who now works as a lobbyist in Washington and has been tied to the creators of the unverified Trump dossier may have lobbied against Russian sanctions, according to a letter by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA). Grassley requested all immigration information available on Rinat Akhmetshin, a Russian citizen who became an American citizen in 2009, in a letter written Tuesday. He cited a July 2016 complaint alleging Akhmetshin had not registered as a foreign agent as required by law.
He allegedly worked with Fusion GPS, the company behind the unverified dossier that claimed ties between President Trump and Russia.

Kudos for finding this and keeping the anti-Trump Russian collusion conspiracy theory alive for at least one more day! Its important to keep this going to hopefully derail Trumps agenda, even if the truth of the matter is inconsequential.
n a lawsuit filed in July 2015 with the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, it was alleged by International Mineral Resources (IMR) that Akhmetshin committed corporate espionage on behalf of Russian oligarch and industrialist Andrew Melinchenko. The filings regarded a sophisticated data breach by Russian hackers that compromised gigabytes of IMR corporate data.
In the filings, sworn statements by private investigator Akis Phanartizis stated that Akhmetshin boasted that the hacking of IMR's computer system was organized by him. Akhmetshin refused to answer a number of questions under oath or produce 261 requested documents.
The U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C. was told in July 2015 that Akhmetshin had arranged the hacking of a mining company’s private records—stealing internal documents and then disseminating them. The corporate espionage case was brought by IMR, who alleged that Akhmetshin was hired by Russian oligarch Andrey Melinchenko, an industrialist worth around $12 billion.
This story has links to Xrussian Ukranian Oligarch's who worked with the DNC to get Trump . I am left wondering if the DNC is the tail of the dog or is the dog but the relationship makes perfect sense if you unwind this puppy back to 2011 and move the story to present ...
Explain what that has to do with Trump Jr trying to work with her.
Accusations have arisen that the meeting was part of a wider setup to achieve a FISA warrant to wiretap phones of the Trump campaign during 2016. President Trump himself has accused the FBI under Loretta Lynch of wiretapping his campaign.
