The past year or two I've seen headlines passed around the social media circuit saying "Eminem moves to so and so place (insert near them)" exchange Eminem with any other celebrity...

Same thing with celebrities dying....

Hugh Hefner dead hoax

People just read the post and share it without ever even reading the damn article, or if so, looking for fine print disclaimers saying they're fictitious sites, doesn't happen often ...or if not, where the original source (if any) came from...

People scrolling through the day, storyby story...
Could really easily be adopted to thinking anything they see, is reality...
"Oh I remember seeing where that guy died!"
Bam...ridiculous Mandela Effect claim..

...and not only THAT, but they could make an article or YouTube vid about it, garnering a huge amount of individuals who saw the same thing in their feed, and thought thus conclude it's "a multiverse divergence..."

I any case... It's deff a new boon for click bait tycoons to feed off the endless sea of human stupidity...

Please don't bring that JUVENILE crap around ATS.

DENY IGNORANCE!
(Can I get an amen)

Don't talk about conspiracies that fascinate you on a conspiracy forum?

We are supposed to be confused about what is and isn't true...

Or it could be as simple as click-bait articles that feature picture a famous (and still alive) person with the title "You won't believe who died" will be more likely to get clicked, thus leading to more advertising money for the click-bait article company.

It wouldn't be until the click-bait article is read that people would find out that the famous person in the original picture had nothing to do with the article.

Click-bait articles are as simple as that; there need not be any shadow government conspiracy where "They" want us to be confused about what's true and untrue.

That is in some cases true, but not always.....my friend has to have major surgery next week, and could die....He swore up and down Bill Pullman had died on the operating table about a month ago, so he was super scared. I was like WHAT??? No way!!! I did not hear that....I got home looked it up and sure enough my friend had fallen for a hoax that was going around the internet about a month ago.

This does not change the other Mandela effect, Berenstain bears, were always Bernstein to me....and a few others too.....

The OP was lamenting the rise of intentionally misleading click-bait articles and said people should not come on ATS with posts about ME that are the result being mislead by click-bait.

The OP never said "don't discuss ME".

Umm, did you just say the gubment doesn't use mass media to influence our minds?

The ads just pay the operating cost. The real goal is absolutely to form public opinion.

Still living in the Matrix?
