Agreed upon undisputable Truths in Politics

Here is what I think are un-disputable political facts of today's USA. Let's face the ATS scrutiny for what we think is so. If we could have a secretary keep tally, but alas I know not how?... I will take back any if ATS proves them wrong or only partly right. This is an incomplete list. Help me fill it out.


1. Most Politicians are skilled liars
2. Most citizens of the US are moderates who are fairly compassionate about living a fair life
3. Americans have proven we are very generous to help people when a catastrophe occurs and support suffering Americans
4. The political extremes that are affiliating with the two parties ARE deplorable haters and they want the moderates confused as to the truth to suck them in as allies
5. Proof of theft of funds by our elected 'representatives' has created prison terms
6. Tea Party,"Taxed Enough Already" started and the left calls them racist
7. We can SEE that funds are squandered with shady deals for friends that end in lengthy prison sentences when caught, even in Illinois


Truth #1, Most politicians, is a slam dunk as is #5 and #7. Just not enough for Tea Party people. #6 is probably not a slam dunk for anti ante....

Good list.

The powers that be, whoever they are, cannot control us when we are together. So keep us divided and we are the conquered.

We do a pretty good job of keeping ourselves divided if ATS is any indication. The name calling is worse than ever.

Maybe, just maybe, folks are starting to figure it out. It is, after all, the summer re-run season...people might actually begin to take a look around them.

This is just a personal observation. I have no statistics to offer.
It would seem that the media propaganda promoting racial tensions has no effect in my experience.
Perhaps even the opposite.
All of us honkies, negroids, mescans, and all kind of chanks.
We all get along just fine.

The way you are treated by the legal system depends on how much money you have and your position in relation to the government.

1,2,4 and 7 are definitely correct as far as I am concerned.

In today's politics:

Political office is a career, not a service.

One is presumed guilty until proven innocent.

So they are moving along to belief bias.

Well I do feel the pain of bad Gov from time to time. I do think ours brought us freedom from Nazi's and their pals for an entire planet and a Man on THE MOON!!!.. THAT was good stuff there!!

I disagree with some of the last ones. I would add that our elected officials on the Federal level do not care a rat's ass about us other than to get our votes. Also, our elected officials on the state level tend to be of poor intellectual and moral makeup.
