This supposed friend of Trump Jr, very possibly a DNC undercover spy, told Trump Jr Natalia has damaging info on Hillary, doesn't make it true. It was either a joke or a trap. For there to be collusion, Natalia must have had damaging info. Maybe she backed out of the deal. Maybe she didn't have it. Either way, she didn't give anything to Trump Jr. Hence, no collusion.

She's associated with the same Democratic opp research firm that provided the Steele dossier. Steele colluded with the Russian govt for his report. Therefore whoever paid for or is using the Steele dossier are the ones colluding with Russian Intel and the Kremlin with misinformation that is disrupting our democracy, not Trump.

Exactly right. There is an attempt to cast doubt on our election system and the media and dems are going right along with it because they're mad they lost. It's sad, but not unsurprising.

They're just ascribing automatic guilt because their fanfiction of Trump's world is all dark, nefarious, and up to the neck in Russia.

That's the crazy thing. Since when is it illegal to know Russians? The Trump family knows people through the various businesses, real estate, banking, beauty pageants, etc.
They've become friends with these people, rich people, some involved in politics...

It's getting so overblown on the news, that's it is starting to sound like it's completely illegal just to know a "Russian", in any way, shape, or form...and even the tone of this news these days, it's like a drama show, full of intrigue and outrage, yet devoid of factual accuracy

trump seems to be playing his role quite well also...
his latest "I love the Russians stunt" was the idea of joining forces with the russians against the cyber crimes such as those our intelligence agencies say they committed against us to compromise our elections!!
the only thing probably that caused him to take a detour from that was all the republicans in congress coming out against the idea!!

this whole thing might be a distraction to keep us occupied as they do things that they know we wouldn't support, like, oh, I don't know start passing a bunch of laws that will make it easier for them to drain our bank accounts and enrich themselves or whatever... but there is either something to the story and trump is doing his best to try to keep up his end of the bargain, or both sides are just putting on a huge sideshow and we should be looking real hard to find what it is they don't want us to see...

the idea that the dems just made up the story as an excuse for losing the election ranks done at the bottom of the list of possibilities.
it doesn't answer some important questions like...
why did so many on the trump team initially lie about the meetings with the russians when they knew that failure to fill out those forms truthfully and concisely could result in criminal charges.
why has the trump team dismissed the claims that russia was working to interfere with the elections and even now won't come straight out and say it?
why did trump reveal classified info to the russians?
why does he think it's such a grand idea to work with on cyber security issues, is this mutual destruction phase 2?
why won't he reveal his income tax info, or be more transparent with his business dealings?

and, well.....
my favorite...
just what is up with this hotel???

www.newyorker.com...

if it wasn't a shady deal to aid in money laundering...
and if it was a shady deal, are there others shady deals he's made with russian oligarchs??

No connection of the commies here too bad the same can't be said of the traitor in chief and his useless offspring.

Not only was nothing illegal done...nothing even remotely unethical was done.

However, let us make a big deal out of it because Trump.

Why has Trump campaign denied and lied about meeting with Russians If its not illegal nor unethical ?

They haven't...anytime anything has come up they have provided the full context of what occurred.

Got anything to show they've lied or denied?

You are joking right? They all lied when they said they had no connection with the Russians. Dimwit jr should have thought of that before releasing those messages.

You actually consider this a "connection with the Russians?"

What do you consider a connection dinner and dancing? You anti-Americans that support Trump are good for a chuckle for the way you can suspend reality and believe any crap Trumpkins puts out.

a connection seems to be a 20 minute meeting. So any politician who has spoken with anyone from Russia for longer than 20 minutes (the new rule set by retards) is guilty of Russian collusion. ANYONE. I think we should shoot them all in the head. BTW, did you ever meet with anyone from Russia?

The problem lies in the manner in which "Russian" is used. Is it the Russian government or is it any person or entity with Russian ancestry and or citizenship? When the narrative doesn't fit, the term "Russian" no longer represents the Russian government, its anything with ties to Russian culture, be that the nation or history.

I find this hilarious because here you have liberals arguing on the one hand that one Muslim terrorist doesn't make all Muslims and Islamists terrorists, and yet on the other hand all things Russian (including Russians themselves) are bad, period.

Alexandra Chalupa, DNC, Ukrainian embassy in DC.

Just wondering if this is the first time the russians tried to influence a prez election.

Who met with obama in 06'-012?

Or hillary and romney or mccain?

I don't remember any russians in the news back then. Did the ruskies take a break?

Collusion in the legal definition is usually tied to price fixing. Now if someone can prove Jr and putin was trying to
fix the price of orphans or natural gas, then collusion could come into play.

If it's all just "nothing," a "NothingBurger" (wherever the hell that buzzword came from that people parrot as if it gives relevance to their opinion when they don't have one of their own,) why is the OP, and so many other people on ATS and elsewhere, including the POTUS, in defense mode to show us how nothing it is?

You people are funny.

Because we're exposing the fake news media for what it is. Do you really expect us to just take your beating without any pushback? Nope, we fight back. The news media doesn't get to control the narrative anymore and they're livid about it. They're in their own self inflicted death throws over it.

Do you want to know how you can tell, without a shadow of a doubt, that there is nothing to this? The stock market. If they ever come up with decent evidence, evidence that would facilitate a change in leadership or anything like that, the market will careen lower. But just like all of your other smoking guns the market dropped at the headline, but closer inspection revealed the nothingness and the market made new highs.

The fact that the dow made new highs with your smoking gun in the news is really telling, IMO this is the investors believing that this was the last gasp. The big one. And it's all nothing. They're literally laughing in your faces raking in cash hand over fist.

The journal has a hilarious take on your smoking gun:

Ku-llusion
“Dirt on C!” “From R?”
“Yes, T!”
“Really?” “No.”
“Good-bye.”
And that’s collusion?

July 27th will be the day it all comes crashing down for the left, from what I hear. This is all orchestrated by the media master, Donald John Trump. Have to get them to bite hard and admit to their crimes before you expose that they were actually crimes.

The reason is pretty much you are not dealing with the usual doormat timid Republican that beholden to the establishment and the liberal media. A native New Yorker who doesn't take crap has been elected president with a bunch of Americans who aren't tolerating anymore liberal media lies and bull crap anymore. Get used to it.

It seems pretty obvious to me that Trump Junior violated federal statute 52 USC 30121, 36 USC 510

A foreign national shall not, directly or indirectly, make a contribution or a donation of money or other thing of value, or expressly or impliedly promise to make a contribution or a donation, in connection with any Federal, State, or local election.

No person shall knowingly solicit, accept, or receive from a foreign national any contribution or donation prohibited by [this law].”

Information that could be helpful to the campaign falls under the definition of "other thing of value."

Furthermore, it doesn't even matter if Trump Jr. actually received such helpful information, as he is clearly guilty of soliciting it.

Here's a link to a story that spells it out pretty neatly.

www.vox.com...

If Junior's action can be tied back to his father, it is absolutely grounds for impeachment. If Junior was just out gallivanting of his own volition and Dad wasn't involved in the solicitation, not so much.
