Well, there it is. So, there should be no question in your mind why this suit was brought.

Judges order Moscow to pay damages to U.S. families unable to bring home the children they planned to adopt

Forty-five Americans representing 27 Russian children, many with serious health conditions, filed suit at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) after the law halted their near-complete adoptions.

Europe’s top human rights court on Tuesday condemned a 2013 Russian law banning all adoptions by Americans and ordered the government to pay damages. While Moscow denounced the ruling, officials appear ready to reconsider the policy.

Here is the Prevezon settlement. (direct .pdf link)

From what I can tell, Prevezon pays a little under 6 million in a fine from an account that had been held by the government of the Netherlands and they get to keep all the property that they own. The settlement actually lists the property addresses and a whole host of Bank of America accounts.

All claims and or rights to appeal are given up by both sides and this considers the matter closed.

Joon H. Kim is the acting United States attorney who signed the order for the plaintiff. He was preceded by Preet Bharara.

I might dig in a little deeper and take a look at the properties which were to have been seized by the US had the settlement not been reached. Don't think anything can be gleaned from the BoA accounts as the settlement only lists the last four account numbers, but the publicly available information on the properties might produce some surprises.

Great find!

So there is the settlement, which by all appearances seems
to be orchestrated by the same people to benefit the selected
few and ties back to girl Natalia and here is Rinat again!

alleged former Soviet spy whose alleged role in lobbying on behalf of Kremlin interests was recently called out by the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee.

...Dana Rohrabacher, a Republican representative from California, openly acknowledges such a meeting with Rinat Akhmetshin. It lasted between 15 and 20 minutes and took place the night of April 11 in Berlin, at the lobby bar of the Westin Grand Hotel, according to two eyewitnesses and Rohrabacher. The topic of discussion: A high-profile Russian money laundering case and related sanctions on Russia. "We were on our way in and [Akhmetshin] was there,".

This appears to be a deal between Republicans and Dems alike,
But nothing to do with Trump.

Pity poor Trump. He's the ultimate perpetual victim that blames everyone else for his own troubles. Everyone knows that Trump is squeaky clean in his business dealings, and has never told a lie. It's soooo unfair.

Now you are being childish.
No one ever said "Trump is squeaky clean", he is a developer from New York, its impossible to be squeaky clean simple due to the fact that when you build in NYC you have to deal with the mob period.

What is being said and what SHOULD concern all Americans is the fact that this election has torn the mask off of the people who have been running this country for at least 50 years.
The Republican /Democratic party is controlled by the deep state. For once a candidate that neither of them wanted was elected to office. They have been pulling out all the stops in order to bring this man down.
I am not a fan of Trump for the most part. I honestly think he is a typical rude yankee (nothing personnel I am just a southern boy). That said however, he was elected legally in spite of what the liberal voters think, Russians did not help Trump get elected. He was elected to destroy the deep state and weed out the entrenched power that it holds. You may not agree with his policies and you may not like him, but you SHOULD be appalled at that flagrant display of bureaucratic power that is being carried out right in front of you.

Followed by the Trump building.

If you want a base of operations nearby the center of American power, how much more central could you get than this?

Natalia Veselnitskaya is linked to Fusion GPS, the group that is responsible the infamous and discredited "Trump dossier" funded by the DNC.

Natalia was hired to set up Trump and make the appearance of Russian collusion. She lured him in by promising to deliver damaging info on Clinton, but instead discussed overturning the Magnitsky Act, giving birth to the "Russian Connection" narrative.

Don Jr. spotted the bait and switch and walked away without allowing Natalia Veselnitskaya to place him into a substantially compromising situation.

It's so unfair that Trump has to deal with the icky United States government and a country full of diverse opinions and people. What a terrible system the Founding Fathers created, right? Imagine the greatness if it weren't for the media and their paltry first amendment, our popularly elected legislature, laws, voting, lack of laying on of holy hands, etc.

The Founding Fathers never intended to make a system beholden to corporations, the establishment politicians, the wealrhy poltical class, lobbyists nor spies trying to undermine a democratically elected President.
