You know, like threatening to kill those who expose their lies coupled with a good track record of actually doing so.

Like the Clintons.

Beware of "Putin's wrath", or his "rash"?

Problem with Putin and Russia is that they are a third world country with a lot of nukes. People think that makes them worthy of comment. They have little soft power, a small and undiversified economy, low GDP, widespread corruption and autocratic government. Apart from criminal hacking and propaganda, what can Russia do?

Perspective.

It's exactly that sort of arrogance that starts wars.

And it's exactly why the USA needs an opposing nation to keep it in check on the world stage.

If Russia were such a lame joke, then why did the USA fail so badly in dethroning Assad in Syria?

Russia has Su-35S fighter jets. F-22 is low RCS. But Su-35S has IRST. You think the US dares to fight Russia in Syria?

Putin might be good at killing, but don't forget, the election was in the US. Not so easy to kill American private investigators and don't appear on the American MSM.

And why would he want to kill American private investigators anyway?

Where do you even come up with this stuff?

He isn't known for killing foreigners, he's know for killing Russians who oppose him and/or his policies.

The lawyer in question is a Russian national. She was here in the U.S. Temporarily, which means she would be returning to Russia when her business here was completed, making her an easy target for Putin & his goons.

But just for the record, if you think Putin can't get someone because they're out of country, you have another "think" coming.

Remember Alexander Litvinenko? Putin had him poisoned with a radioactive element while he was in London.

Maybe she's a Democrat plant. Possibly a member of the Russian Communist party, a rival of Putin's United Russia party.

Maybe one of these days the individuals in the media behind all of this will stop flinging things from their asses in desperate hopes something sticks against this Administration... If wishes and dreams were horses and ponies, Democrats would ride.

No offence, but aren't moderators on ATS supposed to remain at least vaguely impartial?

Indeed. I refer you to Georgia, Chechnya and Ukraine.

Anyway, if there is anything factually wrong in my review of Russia then do tell.

So, you caught Russia doing the the USA does....

Case and point; most of the Middle East.

Neither nation is a saint and neither nation should have absolute dominance over the other.

I was cautioning about over-egging Russia's ability to do very much in real terms.

If this lawyer never worked for the Russian government, then what's the issue here?

she worked for the company the DNC hired .. it's just more propaganda and a designed hit piece.

want to know who got damaging info from the Kremlin? The DNC, and they admit it. The entire dossier is put together from Kremlin sources, and the DNC gave it to the press.
