WAIT wait wait...

So the DNC was smart enough to TRICK Don Jr. and the entire Trump campaign...

But not smart enough to release the information BEFORE the campaign ENDED?

Pretty Desperate and LOW ENERGY excuse!!!

So is the retired MI-6 person behind the dossier, a foreign national?

I would think so. I'm guessing that your implying Clinton should be under investigation as well. That's fine, but how would that excuse any collusion that the Trump campaign may have been involved with?

I see that a lot with Trump supporters. Deflecting by saying "Clinton did it too". But she's not the POTUS is she? I'm concerned about getting to the truth, whatever that may be. If both Clinton and Trump are guilty, throw them both under the jail.

the dems and liberals on ATS have to realize that trump WOULD have to shoot someone in the street and have 6 witnesses to it, and be caught on live TV, before the alt-right crowd here would believe trump did any thing wrong....even then they would say it was self-defense. the alt-right here CANNOT be convinced of any wrong doing by our president, period.

How much was contributed?

Doesn't have to be monetary assistance...

donation of money or other thing of value

information is valuable.

Most likely this federal election law:

52 U.S. Code § 30121 - Contributions and donations by foreign nationals

§ 30121.
Contributions and donations by foreign nationals
(a) ProhibitionIt shall be unlawful for—
(1) a foreign national, directly or indirectly, to make—
(A)
a contribution or donation of money or other thing of value, or to make an express or implied promise to make a contribution or donation, in connection with a Federal, State, or local election;
(B)
a contribution or donation to a committee of a political party; or
(C)
an expenditure, independent expenditure, or disbursement for an electioneering communication (within the meaning of section 30104(f)(3) of this title); or
(2)
a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation described in subparagraph (A) or (B) of paragraph (1) from a foreign national.
(b) “Foreign national” definedAs used in this section, the term “foreign national” means—
(1)
a foreign principal, as such term is defined by section 611(b) of title 22, except that the term “foreign national” shall not include any individual who is a citizen of the United States; or
(2)
an individual who is not a citizen of the United States or a national of the United States (as defined in section 1101(a)(22) of title 8) and who is not lawfully admitted for permanent residence, as defined by section 1101(a)(20) of title 8.
(Pub. L. 92–225, title III, § 319, formerly § 324, as added Pub. L. 94–283, title I, § 112(2), May 11, 1976, 90 Stat. 493; renumbered § 319, Pub. L. 96–187, title I, § 105(5), Jan. 8, 1980, 93 Stat. 1354; amended Pub. L. 107–155, title III, §§ 303, 317, Mar. 27, 2002, 116 Stat. 96, 109.)

Legal Information Institute

This is all about the receipt of foreign donations.
Try again.

I suggest you read it again.

Like I said - all about foreign donations and campaign contributions.
Keep trying.

Information has value.

That is not what the law is for - it is clearly for campaign donations.
Time for you to try and find some other laws that may have been broken... so far nada.

Clinton actually , or the DNC to be more precise paid for that dossier and actually got information. Donald Trump jr. had a meeting with no information exchange and no money exchange that we know of. If you're going to go after 1 then go after both of them the Clinton / DNC have much more proven wrongdoing in comparison.

That's the third time I've said that in this thread.
What is so hard to understand?

So at least we know now that Trump Jr was meeting what he thought was a Russian govt representative to get opposition research and Trump Snr did know about it at least.

Trump Jr has released the email trail.

Considering its actually ILLEGAL to not report a serious crime like what was alleged, I dont see how he COULD LEGALLY REFUSE.

Also, as you stated what the dork is wrong with getting info that is TRUE AND ACCURATE?

Are we forgetting that the authenticity or material arguments based off the hacked emails is not in question?

Its like they would rather not know the truth.

Oh, Russia is telling the truth. Lets just ignore that....

The Steps ... (SO FAR)...

#1: There was no communication with the Russians.

#2: There was communication with the Russians, but there was no collusion.

#3: There was collusion, but so what. Is collusion really a crime?

^^ THAT is what the Tumps want us to believe?
