EDIT: Edited post....

Read your post about the purchase of your home.

I too bought a home that was possessed.

Check local laws and see if former owners are required to tell you if the house is haunted. It is required in some US states.

WOW.... it is going at a much faster rate in your home then in mine. They are already touching you huh? Sounds like a Succubus - female demon (legion of Lilith) She wants to have sex with you. Many people are willing subjects. They take your semen with them. Some are black widows and kill their mates when done. That growling thing you hear is the thing that is grabbing you and it is not a cat. They come and go.... better get a handle on this and fast.

Your house needs to be exorcised. It is free service. Contact local Catholic bishop or look online for an experienced exorcist.

RE EDIT....OK thought about it three times... thinking I am not going to say it but after going through this it is best you hear it before it it too late..... IF they are grabbing you ...... they can kill you.... do you understand? I advise you NOT to sleep alone in your home. ALWAYS have someone in the house when you sleep.

I would recommend thinking this with your mind voice:

Every being who do action towards me will have that action mirrored back.

I have had some strange experiences, but I have never experienced the common sleep paralysis or such. I tend to think it's because I don't sleep on my back. That seems to be a common denominator with people who experience sleep paralysis and such; they tend to be back sleepers. I don't know why, but I have never been able to sleep on my back.

I have however, experienced the feeling of something sitting on my bed, but never the feeling of being grabbed or held down.

I don't have things like this happen because they know they are not welcome in my home and I will destroy them if they try.

Your willpower and intent is far more powerful than their vague appearances and intentions and you can defeat them if only you change your mindset.

Next time you have that happen pause, centre your self, and feel with every cell in your body that this is your home and they are not welcome, and to leave immediately.

If that fails then you will need help, need to do smudging around your home, need to get a specialist to intervene.

In almost every state there's what they call the "haunted house" real estate clause. I don't know of any place where it's legal to sell a home without telling the buyer a synoptic history of the home. There may be states where it's legal, but I am not aware of any.

Could these things actually be dimensional entities performing God knows what experiments OR maybe our own government agents performing their nefarious cloaked experiments, all at our own expense?

I doubt it as "hauntings" are as old as human existence.

Dimensional beings sure... a very strong possibility.

Bear in mind too that what we call "ghosts" may actually be a more etheric life form which originated on earth.

Its at least a possibility.

Truly terrifying . I ;ll give you an advice.
Change the position of your bed and make sure your headrest is towards the east. If possible sleep in another room for a few days. Sage the house and leave a candle at the place and let it burn showing respect to the entity..
Be polite and respectful with your attitude.
Don't be afraid. Try to forget it, do not put cameras, and ...

I had various paranormal experiences, one of the most terrifying of mine was when I was 12. I was watching Tv late at night and as I got up from the couch, I raised my hands unconsciously, then I felt myself levitating and I started shaking like being electrocuted, after a few seconds I was thrown violently back at the couch. And I ran terrified to my parents...
I still can't believe this has happened to me but it was real. I also have sleep paralysis, mora, sleep walking and often nightmares, I also get good or bad vibes from places people or objects and sometimes I catch myself doing things unconsciously like going to certain places or unconsciously typing words

MY view is that we are like antennas receiving signals from a sea of frequencies around us...
We even leave our own trail in space.... Some people are just more ''sensitive'' ''receivers'' than others. Getting strange feelings or even paranormal experiences.

Say the lords prayer before you go to bed tonight. It works. If there is a malevolent spirit in your house it will flee.

I sleep with my feet hanging off the end of the bed.
I'm blurry on details...but I've woke up being yanked by my ankles.
When I gathered my senses, my legs were hanging over the foot of the bed at the knees.
It didn't really scare me as much as it pissed me off.

Maybe the black shadows are intelligent because they behave in unpredictable ways. Maybe when we wake up from a certain type of deep sleep in a dark room we are briefly vibrating in a different frequency where we can observe these beings in their dimension. Maybe there is a natural attachment between us and the beings which is why they get close and paralyze you. Then eventually you shake out of that frequency and get 100% back to your reality. You're scared and confused because you don't normally vibrate in that dimension. The black shadows must be from a different dimension because their darkness stands out above the room's darkness. Maybe our brain's ESP powers are also activated during the experience.

Egads! Can't blame you; how terrifying! I don't know what your beliefs are, but in your place, I'd be rebuking and ordering out any nasty spirits lingering around! Anything happen recently that might have prompted some evil influence?

I had a blanket pulled from me while laying in bed once. I was lying on my back with the blanket covering me up to my shoulders.
In one smooth motion, the blanket went from my shoulders all the way to my ankles in a fraction of a second.
I was wide awake when it happened.

Hmm. When I was a kid that happened to me, or that's what I told a family member. It was so long ago I don't remember exactly. Trouble is dream states can easily play tricks on the mind.

What if some of it were real? Impossible to imagine. I'd also have to say more than once there were banging walls back then. Could have been animals or adjusting house.

One time a wall banged behind our TV. This was during day time. There was nothing outside, after we looked.. Still it's dumb to think it was paranormal. More likely someone outside was playing a joke and ran.

Have any of you ever experienced something like this with a conscious state of mind?

I had a similar experience in my parent's home about 20 years ago. I was sleeping over and staying in the front bedroom. Waking early, I lay in the dark wondering what time it was; thinking it was about 5am or so. It was too dark to see anything and I just rested there wondering whether to try and fall asleep again or to get up. Suddenly, it was like someone played drums on my lower legs with their hands - patter, patter, patter.

I'm smiling at the memory now. Back then was a whole other matter and the level of fear was visceral and electric. It stopped as suddenly as it began and I just stared at the darkness at the end of the bed with blood rushing and heart going too fast. The lamp was to the right and it took quite a few moments to decide to switch it on. The possibility of seeing something insane at the end of the bed was slightly better than being blind in the dark with it.

It didn't feel like a sleep paralysis episode or sleep-related hallucinations, but I'm not an idiot and put it down to them anyway. Never slept in the room again lol. A few weeks or months afterwards, my dad said he slept in the room because either he or my mum had a cough. You know what happened? Yes. He woke in the early hours and was startled by the patter, patter, patter on his lower legs. He fled the room.

Sorry to hear that your going through something so terrible. Have you considered brining in a medium? I know theres alot of fakes out there but you can research and find a real one then you'll be able to find out exactly what your dealing with. At least for me it would help knowing exactly what I'm dealing with. Really hope you can get this thing out of your house.

I am going to lean towards it not being real, only because your dog not jumping into action. I have "baby sitter" German Sheherds and they watch over our carcasses when we're sleeping too. If anything is strange or concerning, they nudge us as well. If there was anything from a ghost to an alien in our room, all hell would break out. Now if it was sleep paralysis, that is only slightly less terrifying, but I'd rather know it was coming from internally, not external.

Are you doing any sort of spiritual practices of sorts, wether religious or any kind of meditation recently?

I usually find these types of things come, well in your case up an about when it comes to believes, internal conflicts or transitions of perception.

Maybe your psyche trying to tell you something or maybe something came to your senses and kind of fooled you.

there are something like 7 cats & 3 dogs that make this crash pad a kennel of sorts....

just about every 24 hour period I see the animals dreaming and their legs & paws just-a-fluttering as they must be frolicking in some dream they have going on in their minds

not saying youse guys are asleep...just saying that both muscle memory and subconscious neural firings might be sending messages to your legs ~ or whatever body part is being accosted by some unseen force/entity

in fact I get these spikes of nerve activity in my feet/thighs/hips... it feels like a bullet hit me or else a electrical shock or maybe even a hot poker got pressed on some spot & I have to very aggressively scratch or even massage the area that got zapped by my own nervous system that went Berserk for a second-or-two

So, something strange happened last. Some of you may remember a thread I did on the subject of my house a few years back which can be found here

Anyways, I don't know what to make of it or if it is even related, I want to lean toward the skeptical side with this one only for the sheer fact I've never felt fear like this before.

It was around 10pm last night when I had decided to go to bed. I had no problem falling asleep, I wasn't overly tired by any means. At some point in the early hours of the morning (1am-3am) if I had to guess, I woke up to my dog nudging at my arm. I wasn't alarmed because he typically does things like this.

And that's when it happened. I was laying down and felt a pair of hands on my lower legs, around mid calf level. I flipped and hopped up sitting in bed thinking WTF was that? I brushed it off as just an over excited mind. As I was going to lay back down I felt hand grab both of my wrists trying to pull me down. I lost it, literally. I was trying to get the grip of these "hands" off of my fore arms when it stopped. I have never felt fear like this, ever, not even in my entire life. I was literally left trembling like a leaf.

That's basically how my night went and I cannot stop thinking about it.
I'm still shaken by this.
Like I said earlier, I don't know if this has anything to do with the things mentioned in my thread from 2013. Who knows?

I was grabbed by the ankles and yanked out of bed one night pulling all the bedding completely off the mattress. Even though it shook me up I decided it didn't scare me only because I knew that is exactly what the thing wanted to do, was to scare me bad. I laughed at it out loud and asked if it could do that again because it was fun.

The only way to win against these kinds of paranormal events is to use your head and think strategy.
Laugh at it next time. Or if you can't find the humor and are only feeling anger, tell it that when you die, you will come and find it and torment it for eternity for bothering you now. I know of a case where a guy did this and it never bothered him ever again.

Since I was yanked out of bed, I have had a few other things happen with objects thrown and hitting me, and a voice in my ear muttering gibberish, all of which made me really laugh super hard at whatever it was that did it. It seems to take their fun away not being scared of them.

When a person gets that panic fear feeling, it gives these kinds of troublesome spirits energy. Maybe it just is trying to let you know something about itself. It was a person who was maybe murdered in that house and is trapped, or something else like that.

Were there any marks on you the next morning?

I've never woken up while being touched,
but have woken up with hand prints on me.

Intrigued.
