A resting place for the Common Man.
A job for the Common Man
A prayer for the Common Man.
Goodwill for the Common Man.
A Protector for the Common Man.

Why America is - and will always be - the Greatest Nation on Earth

And this is why They hate us, from the ruling elites around the globe to the religious radicals.
The common people from under their own control would jump at the chance to escape their grips to come to the US and live in freedom.
Those among us wishing to be "more like Europe" try to spread their progressive poison to ruin the best fruit the earth has had to offer from within. Their's is a failed effort, like a blight or infestation that proves to be insignificant because of the overwhelming bounty of the harvest.

Hey, I love you but is this just a patriotism chant or is there a point to this?

I think someone's a bit *ahem* refreshed after their July 4 celebration. And who could blame them!

Happy birthday America, and many happy returns. Onward and upward.

A nation that does not even have universal healthcare for it's citizens will never be the greatest nation on earth.

Heck. The sad thing is that these nincompoops that criticize about lack of universal health care can't see the forest for the trees. Germany, Canada, the UK, Australia, etc all have universal health care, yet you can be jailed for speaking your mind. What good is healthcare without freedom? So you can extend your miserable pathetic lives?

Shouldn't this thread be in DREAMS & Predictions forum?

Not to reduce the tone of the thread, but I am pretty sure some of this is why 'Murika is the greatest.

Happy 4th!

I guess it comes down to how you define greatness.
Nobody else has put a man on the moon.
Nobody else has nuked a city.
Gotta take the good with the bad.

Let the haters hate. Happy Bday Murica. There is no perfect nation or society but you cannot minimize the amount of freedom we enjoy and the opportunities available to our average citizens.

What use is freedom, if you don't have the health to make use of it and enjoy it?

Anyway, this is silly. I can't speak for anywhere else, but I can tell you that the UK doesn't throw people in prison for speaking their minds. That's such a bizarre idea that I'm not sure where you could have got it.
