If you're up there on a weekend, go to the Blackbird Air Park at Plant 42. They have all kinds of great memorabilia for sale in the gift shop and some great aircraft on display as well.

Well you be wrong about the zip fuel. Zip fuel is stupid. Exotic fuel additives is stupid.

Right about scramjets not being all that great.

Id research something a little more ground breaking than that if i were lockheed.

Do you think more on an enhanced turbine engine ? May be a mix between a turbine engine and a type of augmentor ?

Green Lady uses fuel mix because of the altitude purposes. It using JP-7 and mix it with other additives. As for platform appearance, it is bigger than -71 and is manned(supposedly there is unmanned option too btw). XB-70-type of design with waaaaaaaay better technology...

MHD sounds pretty interesting. I hear the B2 also had some interesting stuff that may be applied in slightly hotter running vehicles... Who knows what the next state of development brought.

It's always fun to read about how this technology, or that system is obsolete because there's something super high tech that's better. I could swear I've heard things like that before, and yet....

It s impressive , if she is bigger than a SR-71 and going faster it realy must have powerfull engine if she stay with a 2 engine configuration.

The air temp at the altitude the 71 flies is colder than the air temp the greenlady flies.
