Actually it reminded me of a joke my dad used to tell about a carpenters apprentice that occasionally threw a nail on the ground as he was working, because the heads were on the wrong end. His boss yelled at him and called him stupid, because obviously those nails were made for the other side of the house.

We don't have fire crackers here, everything is illegal. You may be thinking of a butane potato canon made with pvc piping and an old stove sparker.

I once bought a dozen packs of those throwing crackers you get from Malaysia. little balls of paper filled with crystal explosive.. pop pop they were called by my indo mate..

I unwrapped the lot, and put it in one huge packet... as I tightened the damn thing - BANG... never lost a finger, but mum sure was mad at me, the stew she'd spent all day making was now full of little black spots of spent Malaysian explosive..



PS, never use a left handed spoon. you drip so much soup, it's not worth it. South paws have a lot to answer for.. :/
