Not everyone who wants to peacefully protest is able to do so and show their face.
I could stand to lose my job and ruin my career over something like that- and if I lived in the city, I might actually be inclined to join some of the protests I've seen.

None of the ones I've seen lately, mind you. it's all a bunch of whining lately... Bring back the protests against the blanket surveillance!

I agree. I loathe antifa, but I dont think this is a good governement precedent.

However, as I began to write out my position on this I realized that I started contradicting my original thought. They use fear and intimidation as well as some violence and property destruction to push a political position. They do it with hidden identities. Thats damn close to being a terrorist organization. They havent blown up stuff or gone on a shooting rampage...yet. But they are pushing that line of serious violence at times.

Still, its a bad government precedent.

If you have been paying attention to ANTIFA and BAMN if they had their way, they would be definitely rounding up everyone who in their weak minds were considered a NAZI!

I agree they are crazy, but ever since the public started mounting their own protest to counter theirs, they have almost become irrelevant. I do not see the need to have the state label them. The people should continue to do what they have been doing to counter them.


On a side note, what happen to BLM? Seems like soro's can only fund one group at time, The cheap bastard...

Probably so. However, the BIG difference here is the label is not subjective. It is a direct response to their actual ACTIONS and not mere words or disagreement with the government. When the line is crossed between peaceful protest and active destruction and physical intimidation, it becomes illegal and is deserving of that label.

Be CAREFUL your hate for ANTIFA doesn't turn you into exactly what you HATE...

I got to say the amount of people praising this authoritarian move is saddening.
