IF you grew up in my country... You already know this song

It used to be on every Canadian channel a few times a day

Almost brings a tear to the eye, but most definitely a huge smile

Nostalgic... like a long lost friend

That's pretty cool my question would be do they still do log driving like that jumping around from log to log and can I use you as a reference to get a work visa in Canada lol

Nothing screams Canada like the Hinterland's Who's Who

Altho John Candy's rendition of the Wood Chuck will ever be my favorite.
"The woodchuck lives in Snowy Climes"
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

There's this one as well.

I remember this one very well. I grew up beside a river with a lumber mill directly across, and they did at that time still move logs down the river. Those days are long gone. Thanks for the memory.

We usually use Trucks these days... global warming and such...

Melted our igloos in major cities... it was bloody tragic

Log hoppin is part of the curriculum these days though... can't get to highschool without it

We plan to make it the next sport

Ha !

That video brings back memories of Canadian television.

Thanks for bumping this thread, I missed it the first time.

Another great song/tv commercial from our Canadiana past:

Actually, all of North American would not be what it is now without log drivers.
