I like how we humans apparently just threw all ethic concerns over board and it's suddenly a free for all. Why not allow cloning humans while we are at it or how about some body modifications. Just chop my good left arm off and give me a fancy new bio tech one. Hell let's create human-animal hybrids just because we can.

You have an umbilical cord and all the mechanics for the amneotic fluid and a thousand other things...

You can't just pop a womb in a dude and get it done..

I identify as a millionaire, can you tax payers help me out.

And this is going to be an issue.

How to pay for it?

Trans surgery is expensive and is elective.

In 5-10 years this surgery has a very real possibility of becoming reality. How and who is going to pay for it?

Only in your ultra conservative head...

You can't just pop a womb in a dude!

A woman's entire body is designed for child birth. Every gland, hormone and a hundred tiny organs that produce all the stuff required..

I really, really dislike this trend of denouncing things as 'taxpayer'-funded.

Everything on the NHS is taxpayer-funded. That doesn't give taxpayers the right to decide what is and isn't available.

It's not 'my money' after it has been given to the Government, in the same way that it's not 'my money' after I have spent it in a supermarket.

Nah man, it's a piece of cake, they'll be doing it for everyone free soon.

The Dail Mail told me, it must be true so there's absolutely no need for us to think it through.

Evidently.

Not an ultra conservative.

Many dr.s think this is going to be a real possibility in 5-10 years.

Now is the time to talk about it and figure out who is going to pay for this.

According to the story there are laws on the books for equal treatment. So this could very well increase taxes to pay for this elective surgery.

I think anyone who has participated with you would disagree..

I bet one could scroll down your post history and it's a who's who of fake stories and propaganda.

This is specificlly meant to demonize trans people over the totally ridiculous thought of implanting a womb in a male and even more so debate who should pay for this ridiculous operation that won't be happening this generation...

We have just now begun to figure out how to grow an embryo out side a female in the highest of technology facilities.. then we ha be to make it biological and stick it in a dude..

Maybe next century..

It's Doom porn for alt righters..

Arn't womens pelvic cavities larger than mens thus allowing them to give birth ?

Imagine a screaming man giving birth with a natural smaller pelvic cavity.

Ooooooo. The screams will be heard from miles away.

Oh, that's what the taxpayer funded C-section is for.

It is your money, and when the NHS comes knocking asking for yet more of it because they are short of funding, services like this are part of why.

So do you want to keep more of your money or do you want to chip in more money to the NHS so it can pay for services that only a very tiny minority of people will ever use and that cost an astronomical sum compared to the types of things most average people will want or need over the course of their lives?

Womb transplants for transfolk or ... that bleeding edge cancer therapy? Your choice.

When taxpayers start having to pay huge money for operations like this, I think we need to start looking at this issue. I feel the same way about health insurance, it should not be paying for sex change operations or stuff like this. The huge costs go to the people who pay for this. It is not fair at all that others should pay for this kind of stuff.

I have no problem if someone wants to pay on their own, just no taxpayer or insurance payer should have to pay for this kind of stuff. Soon everyone will be broke except for people way up in the medical and Pharma industries. They burned alchemists and witches in the past for abusing our societies, making people believe that we needed things we didn't

Anyone who cannot see what is happening here is blind. Diseases and conditions are being made up to promote financial gain of the Medical profession, if they could they would have everyone think they are flawed and need medicine or surgery. Not all doctors and medical professionals are trying to get rich, but they themselves are being deceived lots of times to believe in something that is not real, they are believing a lie and parrotting it.

Everyone is different, guys do not need to have babies, that is for women. Women have bodies and dna designed for the purpose of making kids. What I study for nutrition and medical benefits of foods does not apply to pregnant women at all, there are changes in their bodies that occur that completely change things. This will not happen with a guy, it can't. Our DNA is different, we have the Ydna factor. This is nothing but the prelude to a huge scam.

Just because a guy has a womb transplanted does not mean that the kid will be normal throughout it's life. We do not know how this will effect the mentality of the adult born or how it will effect our symbiotic relationship with microbes. These people may spread diseases we are not immune to, we have no evidence at all to show the safety of this over the long term. Like I said, a woman has some definite changes in her body and those changes are necessary to create a baby that fits into this world. Playing god with stuff we have no way of knowing the consequences of is not wise at all. I think we are living in a tv show where mad scientists are creating all sorts of possible future problems. What is next, is this the Island of doctor Morrow.
