Hmmmm.
Evicting disabled people as part of a land grab for a shady real estate acquisition?
It appears the FBI fraud case into Jane Sanders (Read "Matter")...might be very much needed.

I wonder how Bernie feels about his wife forcing disabled people into the streets in order to grab their property as part of her allegedly fraudulent real estate/loan scam.

“It is simply not fair to expect the College to continue to carry the burden of the expenses associated with housing both your population and ours..."

-Jane Sanders
(Source)

Spoken like a good little hypocrite Socialist.

The records, part of an ongoing Judicial Watch investigation into the Jane Sanders fraud case, include electronic mail exchanges between Jane when she was president of Burlington College and two former mayors of the city of Burlington.

In a lengthy letter to the attorney (Todd Centybear) representing the group home for the disabled Jane indicates that she’s having trouble evicting the 16 residents from their building on the newly purchased property after the college had acquired the land.

She writes: “It is simply not fair to expect the College to continue to carry the burden of the expenses associated with housing both your population and ours until February 2012.”

The home for the disabled was being leased from the diocese and Jane was supposed to help relocate the residents, not evict them.
The exchange shows, not only Jane’s heartlessness, but also her incompetence as the college president for not ensuring the negotiated transfer of those disabled people before the school took over the property.

Herr Drumpf must be close to quitting?? Why else would they go after Bernie's wife? Weren't they watching when the DNC™ cheated the snot out of Bernie and He folded like a cuckold sans a spine?

Is this the lakeside chalet that the Clinton Fraudation/DNC bought for Bernie for taking it in the balloon knot for the good of the party?

Bernie is guilty by association, he must have known at least some of the details regarding his wife's sketchy $10 million land deal for Burlington College.

Not to mention the allegations his Senate Office pressured the bank to approve the loan (which was allegedly applied for using falsified donor amounts).

Jane Sanders and Bernie are both hypocrites in this sense, especially because Jane helped Bernie Campaign, and Bernie is constantly talking about social injustices and "taking care of our citizens".

well as far as evicting them i don't have a problem with. the land was sold and the college owned it, they have owners property rights and all that.
what i have a problem with is she/ the college gave their word and didn't honor it.
that says a lot to me.

That's all you need to know when it comes to progressive hypocrisy... funny how conservative progressives get when it comes to THEIR MONEY. All that living wage, for the good of society, equity, and fairness drivel goes out the window...

Since the college went bankrupt and no longer exists, I wonder if the disabled people were actually evicted?
I didn't see any reference to how it all turned out for the people in the group home. I wonder what happened to the holdings of the college when it closed?

Too bad she wasn't working for Trump University, eh?

Then she could have stolen millions from people and many of you would be praising her.

Instead, general hypocrisy and ignorance remains on parade.

By your assertion, everyone condemning Jane Sanders in this thread is a hypocritical Trump supporter? Nice to know we're not throwing around generalizations or anything. This thread is about Jane Sanders and the Burlington College real estate scandal, you're the first person to mention Trump (with an added bonus of including a stereotype in your comment).

There are plenty of ongoing discussions about Trump. Let's not make this one of them.

Feel free to discuss anything you wish however you wish to, and I'll do the same.

The "discussion" is another pathetic attempt to discredit Bernie Sanders by attacking his wife (with irrelevancies one might add). I'm pointing that out by demonstrating that Mrs. Sanders' actions pale in comparison to any ONE of Mr. Trump's many larcenous schemes.

The comparison one of Mr. Trump's many failed ventures that resulted in millions of dollars stolen from Americans seems relevant to me in this context. Surely you're not pretending that this thread is apolitical?

Surely not.

Hey, Gryphon.
It feels like it's been a long time since I've heard from you.
Good to see you again.

You feel what Jane has done here is an "irrelevancy".

Why?

I do not know the whole story here, I cannot just look at one side so I will not make a judgement on this subject.

I will say that just because someone is disabled does not mean they are honest. I see so many disabled people abuse the system and it actually hurts a lot of the more meek people who just want a little help. I knew a guy who had one leg, he was a biker, he was kind of a jerk to most people but I got along fine with him. He did not expect special treatment for his disability, it did not stop him from driving his Hog either. He did get a veteran disability check, which he spent in the taverns, but he was honest and sincere to his friends even with his rough biker personality.

There are two types of disabled, those who abuse the system and those who appreciate the system. What kind of people these were in this situation I do not know, so I cannot judge this situation. Just because someone is disabled, you do not have to pile money and extra rights on them.

C'mon, you know better, he is as socialist as Canadians. We have socialist policies and we contribute to them but at the same time are free to earn the $$ to buy a nice house or sports car.

Hello, 'TAT, thanks for the kindness.

No, I don't think that what Mrs. Sanders "has done" is irrelevant and didn't say that, I said the manner in which she is being attacked and misrepresented here are (and yet, that is hardly unexpected.)

Tell me, if any of you are so "concerned" about Mrs. Sanders (who isn't elected to any office) why aren't you even a tenth as concerned about Mr. Trump's MANY illegitimate deals and actions?

I mean, for the moment, he is the President of the United States and all. Mrs. Sanders just happens to be married to an old Socialist, LOL.

I totally understand and shouldn't judge anyone on how they spend their own money.

I was trying to insinuate - I will admit is just my projection - his multi million dollar cheque he got from the Clinton's for his campaign.

Sorry I just can't miss the opportunity.

If she is guilty and Bernie is guilty of assisting her, then they should both be punished for their crimes.

Same as anyone who breaks the law.

It's not that hard to understand.
