They edited the speech to leave out the sister calling for the neighborhood to burn down the suburbs and not to burn down the streets. They were labeling her like she was some saint calling for peace in the midst of tragedy.

Plenty and plenty of other examples.

The Russian narritive was clearly fake news, this is just questionable omission of facts to serve a narrative. CNN always does this nonsense though.

It wouldn't be a big deal to allow individuals to own media if they didn't own so much media.

If John Smith owned the NYT and that's all he owned, it wouldn't be a big deal, but when John Smith owns the NYT ... and 10 or 20 other large market newspapers, a broadcasting station that has several different radio stations working out of it, a local affiliate for CBS, etc., then John Smith has a lot of influence across multiple media markets and platforms.
