Hey, Trump likes to hire the best he can. I just hope he isn't dumb enough to ignore that they may try to sabotage things. They may still be under Confessor Clinton's mind control spells. Remember that Soros is short for sorcerer.

It wasn't that long ago that Trump was a democrat and friends with the Clintons.

I find this entire topic humorous. They are all part of the ruling class. They don't care about the peons like you and I. The only ones who pick sides in these fights are the electorate who think their vote actually matters. The large majority of these corporate donors hedge their bets by contributing to both sides. Have you ever seen who gets invited to Bilderberg or the Bohemian Grove? Left and right, R and D. It doesn't matter as long as you have the $ or the power or both. John Kerry and the George Bushes are all Skull & Bones. THEY WANT US TO THINK IT IS R V. D BECAUSE THEY DON'T WANT US TO REALIZE IT IS THEM V. US.

Trump could kill his wife on the white house lawn and his supporters would say Melania deserved it at this point.

Nothing is going to change anybody's mind at this point. People are entrenched and that's the whole point.

The money men and women run the show while we are too busy arguing over who is better.

Ok but much of the flap about this should be in the context that Trump is his own money man and Clinton is the made man if you will, the political charity case.

Wait, haven't the left already said this?

I think this is incorrect. You put the blame on "oh people are entrenched" and that is like calling the criminal the victim. The only reason people seem to be defending Trump a good deal is not because they are entrenched as much as the attacks on him has been completely unreasonable and disproportional to any other president in the past. The attacks started 30 seconds after he hit 270 votes and have not stopped. I think many just want people to let him lead and sit back and watch. If he fails so be it, fire away, but that is not how this is going or will go.

To paraphrase The Who-

Meet the new swamp. Same as the old swamp.

I'm trying to think of some deeper meaning to attach to it but that's pretty much it.

Huh? no way. I would not back trump at all if he did that. Then again, I am a supporter of the person who holds the office of president of the United States, not necessarily Trump. If Hillary would have won...I am glad she didn't...I would have supported her till she got impeached too.

Either Dore is naïve or he is intentionally acting as if he is naïve. He starts out making the argument that things are really bad if people voted for Trump over Hillary. That somehow Hillary was the fox and she intentionally made Trump out to look like a wolf. BS. He’s just another liberal in a ridiculously long line of liberals making excuses and unwilling to accept the fact Hillary Clinton was a scumbag that was totally unlikeable. Trump winning against Hillary was pretty damn easy. Hillary was a known quantity where Trump was not. Hillary has a very, very shady past and reputation of untrustworthiness and is widely considered to be dishonest. People made assumptions on Trump based upon the media bias against him. Prior to his announcement of running for POTUS 99.9% of people knew Trump only as the start of The Apprentice. The entire nation had been exposed to Hillary Clinton for 30+ years. Most of the claims and media slants about Trump were and for the most part is still untrue. He was portrayed as a bigot, racist, and a misogynist. Let’s not forget a secret Russian agent. Every one of those claims were and continue to be untrue. So his argument

Then he goes into the argument about corporate powers. Either he is very naïve or is intentionally spreading disinformation. The old school democrat politicians along with the old school republican politicians have always been corrupt. Since when has this not been the case? Why is he trying to make it sound like the left has all of a sudden switched from being the all accepting party to the sell-out party? It’s always been this way for both democrat and republican politicians.

Corporatism has grown not because of shifting political lines but simply because our country and the world’s economy has grown exponentially over the decades. More customers means more money which leads to more money in politics. The major corporations are going to go where the power is. They could care less if it’s a democrat or a republican. How do people not realize this? Corporations have no allegiance to the citizenry of any country. They care only about profit. Again…how is this so difficult for people to understand?

The fact that I realize corporatism is selfish and all-consuming is still a much better option versus outright socialism.

Nothing in Dore’s narrative is new, revealing, or surprising. Sorry but anyone who thinks his commentary is revealing is naïve to the way of politics.
