"They are just tweets" Did you forget AGAIN that his tweets are to be taken as "Official White House Statements". Come on man, you know that is what he said. I don't need to post a link you will just ignore.

mental stability is important when picking a world leader...not only does don lack it, he portrays over and over that he is not fit for the position. His tweets alone are proof that he is not of leadership quality.

But the question was about what makes someone a leader.

Someone who tweets at 5 a.m. about bloody face lifts. That's what makes a real leader! Maga!

But seriously, maybe leaders are like pornography. You know it when you see it, but it's hard to define otherwise.

I live in a Starbuck's unicorn Frappuccino, and it's nice in here.

I have to admit I gave him a star for the starbuck's and frap comment....I laughed cause I can totally see it.

I can't even believe you're talking about me like I'm not here. No one puts can't even in a corner. See, I've even started talking about myself in the third person. Trump's influence--poisoning my mind.

I apologize....Even in the dungeons of the ATS forums no one deserves to be put in the corner.!! I am ashamed and hope you can forgive me....

PEOPLE OF ATS HEAR ME NOW!!! I HAVE CORNER SHAMED I CANT EVEN AND I AM TRULY SORRY!! It will never happen again..

Welcome back to the adult table and have a on me!!

Now, that's a real leader talking!

Cheers! I actually think it would be fun to have a beer IRL with a lot of folks that I disagree with on ATS.

political analysis on Morning Joe:
The program has continually called President Trump a, "fake president" starting just days after his inauguration. Scarborough implied Trump had dementia in May. "My mother had dementia for 10 years," he said. "That sounds like the sort of thing my mother would say today ... It's beyond the realm," he said. Scarborough called Trump a "bumbling, bumbling dope" in May. Scarborough said Trump looked like "a kid who pooped in his pants" in June.

And, Trump took the ratings bait. I don't like Morning Joe, but I have to give one up for Mika and Joe with getting under Trump's skin.

Oh please, the ATS trumpiteers don't seem to remember anything at all going badly for Obama, Only poor Donnie. Just like the other day they were trying to say trump has had more death threats. That was shot down. They also were talking about Johnny Depp and his trump comments. That had never happened to ANY other president. Yeah, Then I point out Ted Nugent, and how he over and over again called for Obamas head, of coarse after Ted did that, good ol trump had him as a guest at the White House.

I wonder if in the future Americans will look back on Donald Trump and his tweets - which are legally official statements - and laugh at this period in time.

And to think, people demand that "you should at least respect the POTUS," LOL, this dude is disrespectful as people come.

Tweets are the vehicle The President of the United States has chosen to make statements. Yes, you should take them seriously, unless he is Alzheimer and going back to being a boy.

I have to agree with this. Trump himself has chosen to use Twitter as his way of interfacing with the American public, therefore, it behooves him to uphold a certain level of behavior that is representative of his status as POTUS. You can't really with any sort of straight face declare that simply because he's using his personal account to make these attacks that they don't matter and shouldn't be taken seriously.

It's patently obvious that he wants to be taken seriously or he'd not give these people the time of day by responding. I get that he wants to defend himself, but lowering himself to that level or lower is not the way to do it. Ignoring the riff raff, doing a good job, and appearing to be above the ridiculousness of the MSM is what American needs right now.

As a school teacher of 18 years I am increasingly having to deal with the fall out over bullying across social media platforms. It has become a real problem that is blighting schools and I have seen some real damage done to students who cannot escape to a 'safe' place when under attack from electronic harassment.

And here we have the most powerful figure in politics not only condoning this form of harassment, but actually leading by example with the constant horrid torrent of personal abuse he spews on twitter, therefore saying to this generation that it is perfectly fine to use social media to personally attack and attempt to humiliate another person in public.

It is extremely worrying and undermines the thousands of us who are attempting to eradicate this kind of behaviour.
