I must politely disagree DB . . . robot cars most definitely fart.

If mass production drops her price to around $5000 in 3-4 years time, my wife may let me buy one. Reproduction is out of the way in our family, entering the "lets spend the kids inheritance" phase.

Got to admit you get a chuckle out of me, I would rather have a good set of decent power tool's and a new larger garden workshop (With a hidden beer fridge out of sight of the house and a nice chair at the back of it for some me time with a good book and some cold ale).

While they are worth laughing about and there are some very realistic plastic doll's I am sure, they will never be a substitute for true tender touching that goes both ways, a woman kissing you unexpected and you doing the same to her, those hug's that are love and just being together, that sense of another person another soul whom you trust with even your deepest secret's (perhaps not all your bad habits though).

That sense of emotional euphoria and remember when you saw that woman and to your eye's there was no other woman in all the world, if not then you have not felt that level of love.

Remember when you were a teenager and fell in love, or you thought you did and all those time's you did not want to eat because you lost your appetite pining after this pretty girl or that pretty girl, remember being with them, of touching them in way no one else would allow you and in fact you did not want anyone else.

This thing will leave nothing but memory's of spending a lot of money, of having to clean it up and of it suffering material wear over time if it even get's used and is not simply put in the passenger seat to scare the neighbor's whom will think it is a dead body and the portable version will leave lasting memory's of having to get more battery's every time you use it.

Still it would be kind of popular in a prison (and may even save some poor young guy's from a fate worse than death).

Robots arent as picky as humans. I think that's the whole point. Your quirks are bothersome to commercialism.

Robots are a great concept until they are programmed by immoral people. If a boy is programmed to do and create bad then it's like a disease to existence perpetuating filth like an unstable army
