I have indeed been told wild stuff about Birmingham, and that i dont know spit about the place by folk from the other side of the world. I live seven miles from the place, have done for near 40 years, went to school there and worked there. Obviously friends and family there and a frequent visitor.

Sure, you may go there if you want to. But don't expect to get assistance if you run into trouble.

This is by no means a "civil war" it's just war. Islamic extremest are the invading force. I won't blame the populace taking arms and killing them all. Force them else where.

The thing is that the refugee/migrant situation is being confused with the 'threat' of global jihad. Most Muslims, in fact nearly all Muslims, are not jihadis. In the same way that nearly all Christians do not assassinate doctors who perform abortions.

If the influx of Arab migrants to Europe represented a jihad, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

All that's happened is that some migrants (quite a lot of them) have brought with them to Europe their own crummy and unenlightened views on social conduct and decency. That means disorder and crime. Not because they are racially inferior, but because their societies are not as 'sophisticated' as ours (I can't be bothered to unpack that word, you all know what I'm getting at and it would take too long).

It's a problem, sure enough, but it's a very different problem from a jihadi invasion. People need to get this difference clear in their heads, because otherwise they're living in cloud-cuckoo land.

Cute. I'm FROM the immediate Tampa area, where TF is that No-Go zone there? I'd never come across it in all the years I lived there, and I've been through some rough Tampa ghetto neighborhoods.

I'm just attempting to show some of the more stubborn posters they are falling for media exaggeration.

This whole thing is crap. I've talked to some people who live in Sweden and they simply laughed when I told them about this.
