Don't these governments realise that the result of there inaction will be the forfiture of there own lives. Washington, DC and London, UK being among the targets in the path of this Tsunami.

Unfortunatly no-one will make them change there minds.
There's no money in it....

Policy makers are immune to this kind of threat, they have well picked real estate, choppers, early warning, bunkers, and all manner of other insurance against disaster. When they ignore something, that means it only has the potential to kill 'useless eaters.'

If they see a threat, and surely they see this one, and ignore it..that means run away to all normal folks. It means they either can't prevent it, or don't want to for their own reasons (usually money, with them it's always money).
