So we will have a computer that has more computational power than the universe.

......or a Universe with more computational power?

Space containing part of a wave function or not, i cant really see how said function will explain what came before the big bang/singularity or how for that matter said singularity came about.

Can you explain please?

If the universe is a projection, where is the projector?

Go to a movie theatre. The light reflecting from the monitor/screen is the big bang. Where's the projector?

"If the universe is a projection, where is the projector?"

Good question but we might need to know what the screen is made from before attempting to locate the projector.

If our universe indeed turns out to be holographic then it will most lightly(pun intended) be a simulation or a simulation of a simulation.

Talk about going down the rabbit hole???

The implications are rather startling, i'm mean if the universe were to be a holographic simulation that implies some form of underlying code that wags the proverbial dogs tail.

Gaining the ability to access, edit or even create such a code might actually become a tangible goal for future generations.

Edit: think someone or another even discovered a form of underlying code back in the 60s if memory serves.
