Julian Assange has just posted this, it's powerful in it's contents and gives one mans vision of what may lie ahead for the Democratic party based on where they are at today and what they represent.

I would like to hear from ATS and what you think of this observation Assange' has made and whether there is any merit to his conclusions.......

1. The Democratic establishment has vortexed the party's narrative energy into hysteria about Russia (a state with a lower GDP than South Korea). It is starkly obvious that were it not for this hysteria insurgent narratives of the type promoted by Bernie Sanders would rapidly dominate the party's base and its relationship with the public. Without the "We didn't lose--Russia won" narrative the party's elite and those who exist under its patronage would be purged for being electorally incompetent and ideologically passé. The collapse of the Democratic vote over the last eight years is at every level, city, state, Congressional and presidential. It corresponds to the domination of Democratic decision making structures by a professional, educated, urban service class and to the shocking decline in health and longevity of white males, who together with their wives, daughters, mothers, etc. comprise 63% of the US population (2010 census). Unlike other industrialized countries US male real wages (all ethnic groups combined) have not increased since 1973. In trying to stimulate engagement of non-whites and women Democrats have aggressively promoted identity politics. This short-term tactic has led to the inevitable strategic catastrophe of the white and male super majorities responding by seeing themselves as an unserviced political identity group. Consequently in response to sotto-voce suggestions that Trump would service this group 53% of all men voted for Trump, 53% of white women and 63% of white men (PEW Research).

2. The Trump-Russia collusion narrative is a political dead end. Despite vast resources, enormous incentives and a year of investigation, Democratic senators who have seen the classified intelligence at the CIA such as Senator Feinstein (as recently as March) are forced to admit that there is no evidence of collusion [www.youtube.com...]. Without collusion, we are left with the Democratic establishment blaming the public for being repelled by the words of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party establishment. Is it a problem that the public discovered what Hillary Clinton said to Goldman Sachs and what party elites said about fixing the DNC primaries against Bernie Sanders? A party elite that maintains that it is the "crime of the century" for the public and their membership to discover how they behave and what they believe invites scorn.

3. The Democrat establishment needs the support of the security sector and media barons to push this diversionary conspiracy agenda, so they ingratiate themselves with these two classes leading to further perceptions that the Democrats act on behalf of an entrenched power elite. Eventually, Trump or Pence will 'merge' with the security state leaving Democrats in a vulnerable position having talked up two deeply unaccountable traditionally Republican-aligned organizations, in particular, the CIA and the FBI, who will be turned against them. Other than domestic diversion and geopolitical destabilization the primary result of the Russian narrative is increased influence and funding for the security sector which is primarily GOP owned or aligned.

4. The twin result is to place the primary self-interest concerns of most Americans, class competition, freedom from crime and ill health and the empowerment of their children, into the shadows and project the Democrats as close to DC and media elites. This has further cemented Trump's anti-establishment positioning and fettered attacks on Trump's run away embrace of robber barons, dictators and gravitas-free buffoons like the CIA's Mike Pompeo.

5. GOP/Trump has open goals everywhere: broken promises, inequality, economy, healthcare, militarization, Goldman Sachs, Saudi Arabia & cronyism, but the Democrat establishment can't kick these goals since the Russian collusion narrative has consumed all its energy and it is entangled with many of the same groups behind Trump's policies.

6. The Democratic base should move to start a new party since the party elite shows no signs that they will give up power. This can be done quickly and cheaply as a result of the internet and databases of peoples' political preferences. This reality is proven in practice with the rapid construction of the Macron, Sanders and Trump campaigns from nothing. The existing Democratic party may well have negative reputational capital, stimulating a Macron-style clean slate approach. Regardless, in the face of such a threat, the Democratic establishment will either concede control or, as in the case of Macron, be eliminated by the new structure.

Bernie Sanders called it out months ago.

He warned the Democrats that they cannot politicize the Russia investigation because it may turn out that there is no collusion between Trump and Russia.

They didn't listen though, and now they have implicated their own people and are trying to stall the investigation to try to save face. What a mess.

I honestly thing the Democratic party should go through some serious layoffs and talk to their middle class whom sadly are the backbone of this country....and im not talking the 200,000 plus a year bracket of "middle class" im talking the real middle class but then big bloated government is hard to sell in this country especially when bloat equals taxes...taxes equal even less money for citizens....
Time to let that boat sink.

And that is where I believe the narrative will fail. As Assange points out, the reason that the demographics who felt disenfranchised by the DNC swung toward Trump was the suggestion --- sotto-voce --- that Trump would take care of them. The Trump Cult will get their panties all bunched up over this but... they were snookered. Trump's not going to take care of them. Nor are the Republicans. The Trump/GOP regime is going to do what they always do and what they're attempting to do now --- take care of the wealthy/elite. Give them tax breaks, roll-back investment restrictions, deregulate to improve their bottom line, etc. The prevailing Trump/GOP model used to be branded trickle-down economics: give a boat-load of money to business and the wealthy and they will spend and create jobs. Problem is it doesn't work. Didn't then, won't now.

At some point people are going to figure out that neither party has any interest in their well-being and then --- maybe --- things will actually change. In the meantime, the current regime keeps pouring-out that smokescreen so they can do what they want behind-the-scenes. I know, I know... NOT Donald!! He's different. He's not one of Them.

Yea... right.

the dems won't change. they are diehard fanatics who believe their own lies.
as long as they control the media and the education establishment they know every year will produce more democrat voters. they only have to bide their time and they will return to majority status.
Trump represents one last win for traditional America. soon the education-system sheeple will outnumber the rest of us and they'll win again.

America's only hope is to break some of the media/education stranglehold. Here's hoping younger America will realize they're being propagandized and start demanding the facts.

That's their plan. Stop educating people. Keep people ignorant and malleable. That way they'll believe anything they're told and will spout the narrative soundbites on-command. That explains why someone like DeVos ends up being Secretary of Education. Brilliant!

When your party platform is;

Higher taxes
Gun control
Bigger government
Fewer freedoms

It's hard to take them seriously.

I no longer look at party. Mainly because they both suck.

I look at what lies they tell me to get my vote. Then I vote and am pissed.

Then I wait 2-4 years and do it all over again.

Democrats desperately need to purge their leadership, I doubt they will... nancy and schumer will fight to hold on to power and that will screw them in the mid-terms...

For anyone interested in a free history lesson of the Democratic party and their 'color-fool' past, Mr Dinesh D'Souza (Creator of the movie "Hillarys America") posted this to YT about 6 months ago.

Knowledge is power (to the people) - go get some.....

I agree with Assange. The Democratic party IS doomed because it is no longer being helmed by true Democrats. Extreme leftist Progressives have hijacked the party and have absolutely no intentions of giving up their rule. The best thing true Democrats can do is peel off and start a new political party that is dedicated to their own platform and true to their original ideals pre-Progressive takeover.

What has gone virtually unnoticed, is that the rats (Democrats) began to abandon their burning ships years and years ago.

Where did they wind up? On the Republican ships.

You know all the talk of Purple Politics ... people being called RINOs ... that 'feeling' you have deep down inside that all is not right in the world ...

That's what's wrong. The Democrats were taken over by radicals, special interests, communists, anti-Americans ... and any other 'fingers' you might care to name. All the 'sane' Democrats left the party and joined ranks with the Republicans.

That's an excellent synopsis of the video I posted above there.

After the cluster **** known as the Trump administration, the middle class will flock back to the democrats out of sheer desperation.

But it will be to late.
