Do Not Ever Mistake Kindness For Weakness!

I find people confuse my kindness for weakness or stupidity. I've had to put my foot down on helping people now. Unless I'm really convinced they're in need they can buzz offf. I only help my kids. Nobody ever helped me out when I needed it, which was my reason for trying to think of others. Mind you I kept it to myself, didn't whine about it to garner sympathy. Perhaps I'd been better off being like them and asking for help, but I was taught better.

I know some people who outright lie they are in bad shape.
