It's brand new it looks like. ADS-B database shows last month as the registration date.

Not on ADS-B Exchange, but definitely a serious WTF moment. Went by Blythe, CA today. There's a very small uncontrolled airport there. By small, I mean one WWII looking hangar, and a smaller building.

I usually barely glance over, because even the private aircraft there are never flying. Today, I glanced over, and there was a C-130J parked there, on internal power (red light on the tail lit up). What's odder is that it was painted Asian green.

Now we know why there's been a KC-30 at Edwards so often.

Plot twist. Went back by today, and caught a six man team under their chutes, with the C-130 circling a few times. He disappeared after a couple passes.

Then around Desert Center I caught either an A400M or C-17 (I'm pretty sure it was the former, but when it's right at sunset, and you're going on opposite directions it's REALLY hard to tell them apart).

They're an aftermarket parts company. Go on Google Earth and look up Pinal Air Park. They are tearing most of those aircraft apart and selling engines and other parts from them.

Piaggio P.180 Avanti. They're in the process of making them into P.1HH Hammerhead, Super MALE platform, and turning them into UAVs. They're talking about 45,000 feet at 135 KTAS, for 16 hours, with a 395 KTAS dash speed.

Only big project I know of going on at moment is B21.

Marana has nothing at all to do with the B-21. It's purely aftermarket civil aviation parts.

Although scale sometimes has influence, it's interesting to see the model consumer RC plane development.

That plane's propeller placement reminded me of a few designs for drone like winged planes that are popular now.

I think both industrious can learn a lot from each other and are getting closer and closer.
