One VC-25A is still showing as well as a very cool Ausie A330 MRTT doing a ton of ovals over and around Death Valley

A pair of KC-10's out of Travis heading east entering Nevada

There is a few Sentry's up as well one doing circles over San Diego the other over LA

I spent 30 minutes at my favorite rest area by Edwards, but no one was home. That's ok though, I've caught some interesting things the last two days, so one day of nothing is no big deal.

They used to try to stay farther away than DM from Phoenix. The thinking was that they had n more flexibility in the event they had to evacuate POTUS. Anyone trying something was less likely to have another team that far away. It used to be an E-4. Makes me wonder if they sent the backup because the E-4 fleet hasn't begun operations again beyond the one aircraft.

Tucson is only about two hours by road from Phoenix. Nellis is more like 5-6.

Damn to have been watching today. One of the Hunters that's been operating out of the San Diego area went into the water. They were supporting the Roosevelt Comptuex.

It belongs to Office of Commercial Transportation Space AST-300 is their regulation and analysis department
