T-90 sales

T-90 is a great tank for fighting in Southeast Asia. So why doesn't Russia sell it widely there? Russia would make a serious amount of money this way.

Looks like North Korea has or is in the process of cloning the T-90

Early this year, North Korea succeeded in developing a new main battle tank, the capabilities of which are nearly identical to those of the T-90 tank Russia developed in the early 1990s, according to a June 17 report in the South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.

Looks like India has brought T-90 tanks
The controversial T-90 tank deal with Russia has finally gone through. It is not clear yet as to whose vested interests this costly deal serves-but there is a fundamental question that needs to be addressed. Do we need them at all? The Indian Army contends that these tanks are required to offset Pakistan’s acquisition of Ukranian T-80 UD tanks for their armoured divisions.

The chinese bought some examples but preffered to develop their own line of MBT's

they may have incorporated some russian system into the type-99 though

yes, india is one of the largest T-90 operators, and the russian's made lots of $$$ selling it to them.

It is apparently the latest version, T-90S

What does the T-90 have to do with terrorrism and SE Asia??..

Who else will buy the Russian tanks? Most modernized countries develop their own, or purchase Western tanks. The poor countries can't afford T90s, and I'm sure they would love to get their hands on them.
